An Improvement to Syndra

Ever since Worlds, there have always been those people that say, "oh, Syndra's broken" or "oh, Syndra's too OP." Personally, I disagree, but it's kinda important that Riot addresses champions that many people think aren't good (looking at you, Yasuo). Anyways, I think that I have an idea that would raise Syndra's skill cap so less people will complain about her. How about her first orb does less damage than it does now, but each consecutive sphere after that does consecutively increasing damage? In other words, what if each sphere makes the enemies hit more susceptible to damage from spheres that follow after it?

The only thing i can't handle with syndra is that buckshot stun bullshit late game.

Syndras problem is her ability to press R on anyone

I don't understand why everyone complains about Syndra, I mean sure she's annoying to deal with and has crazy burst, crazy cc that hits the whole team after one shotting someone. But she isn't THAT strong, look at Cassio for example. A game changing ultimate that you can flash combo with similar to Riven and also the ability to SHRED tanks and almost instantly delete the ADC or back line with VERY high mobility. Forget nerfing Syndra, once Syndra gets nerfed everyone is switching to Cassio.

Not going to solve her current issue of being able to 0 - 100 Squishies with just her W and three Q's. They have some current changes going through on the PBE that will be a massive nerf.

I've toyed with a variation of this idea to give her tank killing power without affecting squishy targets, actually.

Ultimately, the issue is if her early damage in a fight is compromised (e.g, base is lower, then ramps), she's even more vulnerable to speedy champions than she already is. This is further compounded by the fact the ability is a skill shot, and thus missing one would be doubly punishing (missing damage AND the amplification effect). Without a hit, the next blast is still as weak as the first one, so she's still sluggishly behind.

There's no mechanical way to get around this that justifies having this kind of design, that I've seen, at least. I've largely ended up scrapping it because it just further polarized the extremes of her low and high points without satisfyingly solving any of the issues it set out to fix.
