Should be fair for Nidalee if she wants to spam her spears at least needs to invest in mana , so before she is nerfed even further i believe that for every spear there should be an increase in the mana she uses.
this would be an interesting mechanic and they could reward nid players by resetting the mana cost if they hit a spear(just an idea not to make her too weak)
I disagree with this for the simple fact that her mana costs are high already. The width of the spears has already been halved and the damage is less than old AP Nid. Also since her spear is how she makes her kit work i don't see why you'd want to make it harder for her to do what she was designed to do. I'm talking about the hunt of course.
That being said, i did prefer old nid.

EDIT: Apparently you also want this Mage/Assassin to be forced to get into melee range with whoever it hits if they are to get back mana. because thats how to balance her.

Nid's spears aren't a problem anymore. Her spears are very easy to dodge now. .-. I think Nid is honestly fine where she is now atm. If you're getting smacked in the face by every Nid spear with their small hitboxes maybe you should take some dancing lessons. One click to the left or right and the spear goes right past you.
Dodge them. if you can't, buy boots. If you still can't start buying some magic resist buddy, because nid is fine where she is at atm.

This idea is stupid.
Nidalee is a super high skill tier champion to play effectively. Landing a Q spear from long range certainly can hurt squishy targets but it can't outright kill them.
Katarina, Wukong, Pantheon, they can all just walk up to you and press one freaking button watch you die in the blink of an eye.
Nidalee's Q Spear is a skillshot. If she hits from long range, you become hunted, then she has to press R to turn into a cougar, then W to pounce if she's in range, if not she has to chase you, then E to claw attack in a come in front of wherever she clicked and then Q to execute.
If you are a hard target you are not even dead yet. Then Nidalee has to Press R again to revert to human form, then E to heal herself and increase her Attack Speed and then Auto Attack you a few times, before throwing a close range Q spear, and doing it all over again to execute you for good.
This is an insane combination, that is far more difficult than any other skill cap in this game right now.
Nidalee played by pro's can destroy people. Nidalee played by noobs does nothing for the team and will usually lose. There is nothing wrong with Nidalee her mobility, plus range, plus close combat damage burst make her a super challenging champion that can do incredible things that other champions can't do in the hands of the pro's.
She's way harder to play than Lee sin or Jarvan 4 and more rewarding if played correctly.

Her kit is complicated enough as it is. Just let it be.

Why is this a thread? Spears have to be carefully aimed already and be at high distance for good damage. The mana cost is not low either. It's also her one and only kill method.
She is a good jg for assassin style ganks. Let her be that way. No wonder this forum is not taken seriously. Complaint board more than gameplay or balance lately.
