Jungler who don't gank should be perma banned.

It is not that hard. It really isn't to walk into a god damn lane and just attack the enemy champion.

Tons of ways to do it, and for some fucking reason every single jungler on my team up and decides it just isn't possible and sits in the jungle all god damn game and then complains as to why the team is so far behind.

lol, cuz they have their own job

the meta has already shfited from less gank heavy champions because jungle sustain is pretty brutal

theres only 1 jungler and 3 lanes, and the map is pretty big and if say, you had a warwick jungler or master yi... dont expect any ganks till he gets his ult wasting time trying to gank yo mtherfking lanes is just gonna delay him from getting it sooner

I came here just to say you are seriously stupid. Jungling was invented to gank. Back in the day..the days where you coul6d not level up in jungle past level 6 with ease, Ganking was needed to get leveled up. Ever since they added to the jungle making it possible to level up, junglers have gradually forgotten the whole purpose of jungling and something in their heads made them think its to farm farm farm.

Saying "I cant be wasting my time babysitting a lane that is YOUR job to do well in" just sounds like you dont even give a damn about the team or whether you win or lose. you're just in it to see your build grow.

So let me explain how junglers ganking benifits the team. If a jungler enters a lane and doesnt kill anyone. it puts pressure off the lane giving your team breathing room and possibly saving the turret...turrets are vital to winning the game If a jungler does get a kill he gets gold. If he doesn get the kill and just assist, he gets assist gold. If theirs no enemies in the lane due to killing them. bam turret wide open for the taking. 400 for first turret destroyed and 300 for every other turret.. Ganking helps the team win the game by offering a big advantage in the lane. either a 2vs1 fight or 3vs2 fight. If jungler were to get kills plus turret. thats about 900-1400 gold in a matter of a couple minutes.

Now when the turret falls. Guess what that does? it frees up the lane so those laners can also gank.

Ever wondered why junglers that gank often tend to win the game?

Aliens Are Real3 votes

A jungler should gank. If you disagree you're stupid and this is why... I'll use an analogy to make it obvious. Soccor. Imagine the goal keeper is the jungler and defense/offense are the laners. Saying a jungler doesn't have to gank is like saying a goal keeper doesn't have to protect the net and it's the other player's fault that the opponent scored. By the time the jungler aka goal keeper starts helping the team, they'll be too far behind and it won't matter.

HaIlMonitor1 votes

The problem is from my large experience in jungle is the laners want junglers to Protect the net, get the ball all the way to the other side of the field, BUT let the laner score the goal. We cant just set up everything then let you get a free kill. It takes both players.

Speaking from personal experience, if I find a laner is constantly pushing or raging about the lack of ganks they received, I'm more likely to just mute them and focus on other lanes.

When I'm laning, I make sure to let my jungler know when and where my opponent has warded and what defensive summoners they have used. If they decide to gank my lane with that knowledge, I'm thankful. Otherwise, I'm quite capable of winning, or surviving if necessary, an even lane without feeding.

It isn't the jungler's job to win lane; that's the laner's job. The jungler's job is to take advantage of a 4th source of gold and experience (the jungle) so that their team has access to more resources (3 Lanes + Jungle > 3 Lanes) and to control objectives (Baron, Dragon, Buff Camps, Towers).

Oh god when I get ward pings how I love to gank for those lanes. You KNOW they play jungle and will not fuck up your gank on you.

The jungler on your team is not there to win your lane for you.

This is the new S5 jungle.

Be glad when the jungler doesn't die to the jungle and instead limps home with 100 hp. It's all we can manage for the first 10 minutes of the game. Eventually we become strong enough to kill the crab in less than 5 minutes and then we can gank.

ˆˆºº4 votes

Every laner who needs a 2v1 every 5seconds while a jungler is ganking bot, top and mid lane as often as makes logical sense should be dipped in an industrial deep fryer. joking aside

Jungler makes calls on when and where to gank not the laner. If you can't win your lane how is that a jungler's fault? Play safe, ward, and mayhaps the jungler will sense your plight and come help.

Ligerzz4 votes

Perma banned? No that's just stupid. It isn't the jungle'rs responsibility to care for your lane especially. Besides, the new meta and jungle have affected all junglers heavily, and people still aren't used to the new changes. But it should be your job to do well in lane.

But seriously. Perma banned?

So reading these comments explains a lot as to why there are so many shit junglers.

YES It is the job of the jungler to ensure the victory of the lanes. That's the whole POINT of the role. Otherwise why doesn't Riot just remove jungle? Just have duo top and have mid roam!

The new jungle brings back the hard leash. Not that retarded one shot poke crap that everyone enjoys doing. A hard leash being doing high amounts of damage to speed up jungler.

It is their job to help lanes and help their team overall. Their job is not to absolve you of your responsibilities in lane by being your personal assist machine.

its their job to pressure lanes, if a lane feeds before he even has time to gank then avoid it like the fking plague, its a lost cause. but don't blame the jungle for your own incompetence when that happens and you wonder why he won't come into lane, especially when the new jungle was made to prevent early gank.

Reasons jungler's don't want to gank your lane. S5

  1. They are too low on health. If they die they'll end up behind which is bad. It is not uncommon for junglers to be 2 levels below laners if they are behind.
  2. You're too deep into your lane. If you're close enough to lick their turret you're in too deep and you'll make a counter gank very difficult.
  3. You are losing lane badly. I've had it happen before where people cough up first blood in the first 2 minutes of the game. Yeah..not ganking for you.
  4. Busy farming to get gold/clearing jungle creeps because no one ever helps a jungler when they get invaded.
Zakennayo2 votes

Yumm i was waiting for this:

1: The jungler should never have low health. Mana and Health pots exist for a reason. And for maybe 70g you can snowball your team to win.

2: There are bushes in the game for a reason. Use them to your advantage. Stay in bush and wait for your moment, it will always come.

3: Clearing jungler is less important than helping your team win the game. If you're having gold issues. Go gank a lane. 300g is better than 100g.

Cost of a ward: 75 gold. Cost of a pink ward: 100 gold Each pot: 35 gold.

This is not considering the fact that the pots restore a fixed amount of health, and a single buff monster can reduce your health by half even at level 6. You would be spending a large amount of gold on pots that normally would have gone into obtaining your jungle items. You can snowball a lane, but it means very little if you have a player who is always behind.

2: There are bushes in the game for a reason. Use them to your advantage. Stay in bush and wait for your moment, it will always come.

Wtf is item 2043 item 2044 item 3340

3: Clearing jungler is less important than helping your team win the game. If you're having gold issues. Go gank a lane. 300g is better than 100g.

Ganking a lane does not mean you are guaranteed to obtain a kill. That time you are not in your jungle while ganking, is lost gold and exp. If you hyper gank, but your opponents aren't stupid and push too deep while low on health, thats gold you are not making. That's exp you are not gaining.

Jungling is not your main position, you shouldn't comment on it if you have no experience or knowledge on the subject.

I agree completely, many times have I been in the middle of getting blue buff and people start pinging the shit outa me, or when I'm not even past level 3 and they are already pissin their pants cuz they aren't getting ganks, the world doesn't revolve around you. OR when I'm halfway across the map maybe clearing red camp and you start pinging for me up top, nah I aint doing that I'll get to you in my time. If you're having trouble hug turret and don't be a total idiot. Also if I have no mana, or no health and I am not in optimal position to gank I wont, and if you are pushing the shit outa their turret I can't fucking gank you without doing some crazy suicide shit. And if you fed your lane thats your problem for not being safe enough. Ganking a fed lane is not recommended because it will just give them 2 more kills.

Also if we're ganking lanes all the time that gives the enemy time to steal buffs, and if we don't get the kill we're losing xp and getting behind.

70g for 400 hp. 400 hp at level 6 which is already stretching the level you should be when you start ganking, is enough for a good chunk of health.

It doesn't. But it gives you the chance. This whole game is based on being at the right spot at the right time, with proper coordination and team work. Which is what the game is all about!

Jungling is not your main position, you shouldn't comment on it if you have no experience or knowledge on the subject.

Not anymore. I used to play it back in S3 mainly. But I stopped cause I wanted to play other lanes like Mid and Top.

Its 300 gold. 360 if you have SV which really, by the time you have that you don't need pots anymore. Spending 70 gold per back deducts from the already poor gold income of a jungler. If I go gank your lane, and we don't succeed in a kill, that is gold loss for me unless I heavily tax your lane to make up the difference in gold and exp. Junglers are not laners. In S4 a jungler was behind in gold/exp to a laner In S5 pre-season, they are even further behind. There wasa 100 exp reduction, and the ability to clear camps was reduced unless you are udyr/warwck so less gold income.

item 3364 item 3362 item 2043

Didn't know you can only but 1 of item 2044 and that item 3364 could find every single ward you put down at once and had a short cooldown! Nope.

This does not at all refute anything I said. The higher ELO you go, the better people become at warding, defensively positioning themselves, freezing lanes etc etc. Again, it is chance, and during that change you are missing out on a potential 60 gold guaranteed from a camp. Demanding junglers hyper gank for YOUR benefit at the cost of their own is not teamplay. At best, the gank fails and you put your opponent behind in CS, but it means nothing if your jungler is also behind. Even with constant farming, a jungler will be at least 1 to 2 levels under a mid laner. So your chances at a successful gank are lower than in s4.

Not anymore. I used to play it back in S3 mainly. But I stopped cause I wanted to play other lanes like Mid and Top.

Then perhaps you should go and do the new jungle sometime.

When I jungle, I don't gank losing lanes. Obviously a losing lane is high-priority to be ganked by the enemy jungler because they also want a piece of the pie, and you're already down significantly, so I can't risk feeding more gold to your opponent. Sorry dude, but if you have a beef with your jungler during the laning phase, step up your game; you're not doing enough.

Things that determine whether or not the jungler will gank: • kill pressure • carry potential • enemy snowball threat • counter gank potential • risk of losing objective on other side of the map • return gank potential

bolded is the important one. you gank winning lanes, not losing ones. if you can get a good player out of their lane and into others, you can end faster. if the guy gets solo killed in the first 5 minutes, there's no point in ganking for him. he won't be able to use it, even if it does result in a kill.
