is bard still viable? either as a top or support?

he is hands down my favorite champ, but with the way damage creep has been going i've been seeing fewer reasons to pick him since he's so inherently squish. i feel like the only way he was good when i quit him was if you played 100% mistake free. is that still the case?

Why the fuck top...

Support, still yes.

I don't know how you came to that idea and quit him but yes, he is viable. Very much so.

He's very good atm. The reason why people dont really pick him in a large amount is that his playstyle is a niche. You have to practice it because it differs from other supports, similar to Pyke.

He's inherently squish, but also still inherently burst. There are few things I enjoy as much as an aggressive Bard support just outright confusing the enemy bot lane with how much damage he puts out while looking like a complete doof.

Love the Brad.

I feel like such an idiot when I play him, because his kit can be so unreliable from both a solo-queueing and actual game-mechanics standpoint a lot of the time. And even when you do pull off a clutch stun or whatever, you can't count on a proper followup.

He's probably really good, but there's so many factors out of your control that I find him more frustrating than rewarding to play for prolonged periods.

By far the best champion in the game, no reason to play anyone besides him for every single role. Don't forget to build some ap on him.
