Initial "show who you want to play" - champ select

You guys forced us to lock in our picks and bans to increase the speed at which a game is created - However, you completely went against this idea when you gave us 40 seconds to initially "show who we want to play" before the bans start. This is completely counter-productive, goes unused by half the players in my experience, and just adds problems rather than helping the champ selection process.

  1. It's a waste of 40 seconds. If you are serious about speeding up champ select, then eliminate this.
  2. It creates more opportunities for people to troll you. Whether you wish to accept it or not, people get a kick out of bugging strangers on the internet. Banning their hopeful choice is just annoying - which is exactly what some people seem to enjoy. To counter this, most people don't pick a champion at all, or pick someone they don't plan on playing just incase they find themselves in a game with one of these undesirable individuals.

It may be I am alone in this thinking, but I think this is a completely unnecessary part of the champion selection process and I would prefer if it would be removed so that we could get the queues moving - we already have to wait over 3 minutes just for a plat/gold ranked game to get going. I know it's only 40 seconds but it all adds up.

The only problem I have are the extra 5 seconds that can't be used for anything. The pick your preferred champ thing isn't accessible until there are 30 seconds left, I don't get it
