When people say Zed has no counter

Talon? Yeah let see how well that work when Talon out of mana while Zed still has energy.

His biggest counter isn't even Zhonyas (though its HUGE since it turns his Ult into a useless weapon against the Mid carry).

Whenever it comes to late game and you have 5 vs 5 team fights, Zed just becomes useless against any kind of coordinated enemy team due to all the concentrated CC. He's honestly quite useless compared to a Lux, Ahri or Veigar. His biggest counter is simply to wait until late game and to group up.

I'm actually dead serious. Urgot counters Zed very hard. Talon is a stretch yeah. Malz doesnt need to duel zed. All malz needs to do is cast his E on a wave and Q it and dead push the lane.

For this list, Zed shits on everything but...Lissandra, Malzahar, and maybe Urgot.

It takes a lobotomized Zed player to lose aganist half of those champions.

QSS no longer works on, or is about to stop working on, Zed. However, several counters do exist - off the top of my head, I can list Lissandra, Cho'gath, Malzahar, and Ekko as at least even matchups.

Also any bruiser like Garen or Olaf. Doesn't really matter though since you can't play them midlane if you don't wanna be a burden to your team.

Malzahar actually doesn't beat Zed if Zed gets QSS. Talon loses hard until level 6, Zed has alot more early game damage and doesn't need mana.

Of those champions Irelia and Panth are definitely toplane Kayle and Ryze are mostly played top too Lissandra has to have decent reactions to even be able to stun him Malzahar Counters Zed (but your QSS argument would have worked in that way too. Won't work as of 6.9) No idea about Heimerdinger I'd say Talon is a skill matchup Urgot to be kidding me
