Why is the Fighter Class So Outclassed

Just watching league and playing some lately and observing how useless the Fighter class feels on League of Legends. Almost all of them suffer the same flaw, they're kite-able and cc-able as hell. Riot seems to want to acknowledge this as their classes main weakness. When will they learn that this weakness is by far the biggest weakness of all the classes? What good is health, if you can't get into ..or out of .. agression range?

We've had the Top lane update, the mage update, and ad update. Not a single one of these have done anything to make Fighter's any more viable. Sure we had a brief period of Darius wrecking ball, but that was quickly swept under the rug. When will league realize that Deadman's plate , items like black cleaver, and other raw speed items like Righteous Glory just aren't enough. I really can't understand, why any they think that phage based items are any sort of a solution. What good is speed on hit, if you can't get into range to hit. Do they have health, yes. Can they do decent damage, yes. But 90% of the time 50% of their health is chunked (if not more) by the time they can close (assuming they ever make it at all). Picking a fighter, is like picking half a champion for your team. You'll will almost never enter a fight at full health.

On top of this, we go ahead and add more utility mage items to both make it easier to kite and make it easier to engage (why do they need this?). Why is it that we feel that mages are the class that needs all the tricks up their sleeve to get them into a fight and move around it? Why can fighters have not have an item like Hextech GLP-800 to slow their target so that they can close once every so often or counterplay spoil/counterplay someone else's engage. Or something else like Hextech Protobelt-01 so if they want to get aggresive they can actually get into a team fight semi-reliably or actually semi-follow up on stragglers (since most fighters can't hop walls). I just don't see why mages, whom 90% of ones that need these tools already have them built in to their kit or have the range not to need it are the ones receiving all this self-sufficient utility. Especially when the fighters in the top lane that could definitely benefit from this utility get nothing but "walk-at-you-faster-until-you-get-slowed" items which don't solve the problem at hand. Until another method is found to get fighters into a fight, I think we can expect almost all of them to stay on the shelves of pro play.

All these great top lane figher ideas that are fun to play. But when fighting skilled player, there's really no ability to counterplay. A single slow, stun, dash, hop, root, dulls the blade of all the should-be fun fighters. The counterplay is completely on the side of the CCers. Fighter's have little if none, so they are only ever coounterplayed by every other class. Where does that put them on the champion pyramid, the bottom.

It would upset the balance. Vayne would become number 1 adc just because of her self peel.

Fighters are badly designed. They don't brind enough dmg, CC or tankiness and naturally fall off lategame. Their earlygame is also bad, because you will die from minion aggro or towers, if you go too aggro. They are good only on arena maps like Ascension.
