Nexus Blitz is dumb LOL
So I just had a game of Nexus Blitz where my team aced the enemy team and sieged up to their nexus towers before they respawned. We all started to retreat, but then our Karthus came in with the Battle Sled. Apparently if you get hit by your teammate's sled you are forced to ride with them, so we all got thrown into the towers and stunned while the enemy was not. We got ulted by both Brand and Miss Fortune, so there was no chance of us surviving. As soon as we died it went into sudden death and the enemy team got our nexus down to like half health before any of us spawned. We did ace them again, but not before their minions finished our nexus off. Probably the dumbest throw I've ever seen.
Now, here are some things that I think should change about Nexus Blitz so dumb stuff like this doesn't happen.
- The Walking Mecha Nexus Robots in Sudden Death should gain health and/or armor and magic resist based on how many turrets your team has left when Sudden Death begins. It doesn't have to be a lot, but it should be enough to give the team in the lead a bit more of an advantage.
- Getting hit by your team's Battle Sled should just push you to the side rather than forcing you to ride it.
- Loot Teemos and Veigars should not be allowed to walk under either team's jungle turrets since that just guarantees that team will win the event.
- The duel event should let the winners of the first 3 rounds all fight in a 4th round, and that round should decide which team wins. If I win my round and both me and my teammate from that round still had like 80% health we should get to do something to the 2 enemies who won the other rounds with like 20 health each left.
