Can Mordekaiser have a partial rework?

Mordekaiser is has been left in an impossible to balance and messy state that's been left perpetually weak with no clear emphasis on where he goes and what his purpose is, and on behalf of the Morde mains community I have a list of changes that should satisfy everyone until his eventual rework. What should go.

Q: Revert his Q in favor for his older and healthier burst pattern in lane, current Mordekaiser never is able to deal his tag line damage without the use of summoner 4 with a very telegraphed build up, making it even harder for Mordekaiser to deal with people who knows how obvious his counterplay is. And current Q is a nightmare to deal with in the game's current stage, if youre a melee champion, you either need to be tanky enough to withstand his monstrous scalings and base on his W to take the trade into a long fight to finish him, or simply cc him down with the help of a jungler to beat him, and by giving his Q a less predictable and less oppressive pattern that assists his wave clear enough to push out waves without over extending as long as he does now.

W: Reverting his W. All in all this skill is honestly overwhelmingly bad...The healing it gives in lane is abusive enough to cover one of his major weaknesses and its EXP passive consumes so much of his power budget as a gimmick, something he would trade away for the old resistances it granted any day, compensating for his now horrid base stats.

E: With the reversal of his base kit his E used to be his bread and butter in lane, a mid ranged moderate burst that tended to aid his uninteractive yet fair approach to farming and scaling into the later stages of the game at the cost of having no guarenteed all ins or sustain to permanently force people under tower until he acheived his items.

What should stay.

His Dragon Passive: This is a perfect part of his kit as it rewards controlling Morde players who win lane with the oppurtunity to win the game from mid lane if he gets ahead through objectives with the possibilities of exerting limited control over the map and allowing him to be a key player in a strategy revolving objective based comps and making the best of a truly amazing concept that shouldnt go to waste in the failure that was Mordekaiser's ADC rework.

His Passive: With Force of Nature and Will of the Ancients gone from the game, having so little base stats the incentive to build HP items is indeed stronger on morde now than it has been in the pasy, a variation of ryliandries and gunblade into hp items combined with his natural tankiness woulf allow him more flexibility in his playstyle granted if he is ahead or not as opposed to the set number per level he used to have.

This concludes my post on what I feel I and most other Mordekaiser Mains would want for this ancient hunk of metal, and im sure we would all rather this happen to tide him over until his rework rather than being left in the fetid state he has been since he was gutted and all his items being removed/reworked/nerfed (EX;rylais-Scepter-WotA-Gunblade-Removal of SrS-Gank meta) without compensation.

He needs a VGU. He's fucking ugly, and he's a walking pile of puns. He needs to be serious now, especially since they're peppering him into the lore all over the place.

We all know this, but Riot doesn't know what to do with him at the moment. And even then the lore he has now is only going to be expanded on with his rework.

Yeah, but it's more practical if he is a benchwarmer waiting for a rework, than Riot tinkering with his kit continuously. When they've done the whole kit tinkering thing on champions who need a real VGU, their excuse has been "Oh, we've given them some work, so they're passable, we should focus on someone who needs more extensive work." It's happened to Alistar, Miss Fortune, Shen, Fiora, Singed, and Maokai. They needed full VGUs. What they got was a new exterior model and kit tinkering, but they were all left with their old animations (and lack of new animations like recalls and homeguards), and their antiquated VOs, and Riot for some reason thinks that they're on par with VGUs like Poppy, Evelynn, or Galio. They move and sound like shit in the modern game, and Riot won't work on them anymore because they're "adequate," and there are "more pressing matters." I'd rather Mordekaiser not fall into this half-ass VGU boat with them.

Agreed. I'm willing to wait until late 2019 or even early 2020 for new Morde if it means it's high quality. Though then I have to deal with people actually playing him.
