Course I know someone that got to diamond in 8 games due to starting plat 1.

Hey man, don't be like that! It's cool to listen to how people climb as this way it breaks the idea of elo hell. Also it's cool to see how people used their champs to climb or just what camps they used.

Of course in my case I was diamond every single year since season 5 and master on season 4, so it's not really a big deal to get diamond again anyway. I thought it was an interesting topic as I was placed gold 1 after inactivity and I never counted the amount of wins to reach diamond from there.

but you aren't silver?

there are no tips to climb except playing good and remembering your mistakes ESPECIALLY match ups i learned so much during those days, i learned what to do as lulu against thresh, what to do as nautilus against lucian ect..

but what i can teach you is that not being toxic will make you win more games, way more games and everyone has the possibilty to not be toxic in game

I made it to promos ~7 times then got fed up with my mmr matching me with fucking Viper and shit to get into diamond. I'll probably try again after the Malz buffs go through.

I didn't have internet due to problems at my new place for ~ 2 months. I think I remember that thread, guy got hit by the return part of q, ludens, ignite, R proc and said w one shot him.

I did exactly 7 promos to plat 2 before climbing it. Was so stressful...

Are you playing Xerath exclusively in the support role? I used to do this. I think it's a rough experience at best these days. Any build advice?

Yeah I think it fairly easily to win with him support as I don't need to interact a lot with the enemy team out of my comfort zone.

I never did any crazy itemization. Mainly morello and banshee.

Yea, he can ace the laning phase and get the ADC pretty fed, he can also stall out the enemy ADC to a ridiculous degree, but he's vulnerable to ganks and he falls off really hard late game. Even when your having a good game, his damage tends to fall off. I'll have to watch some of your games, fascinated to see how you play him.

The new support quest and banshees are absolutely perfect for him though, so maybe he's a bit stronger now.

Took me about 40 - 50 wins in SoloQ, started in gold 1 skipping plat 4 and plat 2. Needed 3 promos to hit diamond.

Flex queue took me about 75 wins started in Gold 5 also skipping Gold 4, gold 2, plat 4 and plat 2.

Played almost only Taliyah.

Currently "hard"stuck in Diamond 4, didn't actively play soloQ since Lethality change in february. Hope I can get back to SoloQ to achieve my goal till the end of S7

In low elo your champion have close to 0 influence with if you are going to win or not [unless you are playing some very hard champion that need team play like taric, then it will influence a bit].

You should focus on your basics and just apply it to who even you feel like playing more.

Just as a motivational stuff, the first time i got diamond i played almost only soraka [at the time it was considered a troll pick]. I'm sure you can climb using your favorites! Just be open minded about new ways to play them as sometimes you will need to think outside the box to go against certain champions.
