Cheesy Talon XP boost strategy
So this weekend I thought of a unique way to boost yourself to lvl 2 quicker, wich would be great for Talon players, like myself because of his insane level two powerspike.** OBS! Do not try this without reading the whole post, it is not as good as it seemes!**
Pros:
- No one would expect him to level up early wich would give him the element of suprise
- As I said he can with ease kill someone lvl two with his combo that involves hitting bothparts of his W and Qing closely for extradamage and procking his passive + a ignite for safety
- Also the enemy will still be level one wich makes the enemy weaker
On paper this looks OP but first let me show you how to do this and the math. As far as I know the only way to boost your XP gains ingame you need Experience Runes, they only exist as quintessences that gives you +2% XP gains each, if you have all three you get +6% XP gains. You need 280 XP to level up to level two. It takes one whole wave and one minion to level up to level two without runes.
The math and the problem One melee minion drops 59 XP. One Caster minion drops 29 XP. One melee minion drops 59 x 1,06 = 62,54 XP with three XP runes. One Caster minion drops 29 x 1,06 = 30,74 XP with three XP runes. One wave of minions with runes: 62,54 x 3 = 187,62 XP. 30,74 x 3 = 92,22 XP. 187,62 + 92,22 = 279,84 XP. This means you either way needs one more minion if Riots codes rounds it up to 280 XP. So unless they don't round it up it will be the exact same as without runes! I think that is rediculous. I know they have an bigger impact in the longrun but they are completely useless anyway. I thought this would be a fun cheesy tactic I could abuse, and it would have been unique and new. I've never seen anyone try this or even anyone that have used XP runes. It is very, very rare that we get to experiment in League with different builds since everyone knows whats good already.
I really look forward to when Riot updates runes as they talked about in their latest "rito plz" video on Youtube. It was fun testing it and experimenting for the first time (though I don't have enough IP to all three runes). I am not mad at riot or at anything even if I sounded like it in this post, it is just a bummer that it didn't work. If someone found this interesting and have every rune in the game I would love to hear from you if you test this in the practice tool or ingame. If I've misscalculated anything or if there is another way to make this happen please let me know. Lastly I am sorry for missleading you with the title.
Have a good day!
