New Players and the Jungle (nothing about the level you get smite)

OBS! Skip to "the important part" if you are in a hurry!

I reasently read a thread about the Battle Training Tutorial and why new players should be able to try more champions there, specifically Lux read here. I recommend reading it because it got me thinking. After I read it I hoped in to the Battle Training tutorial as Garen and had some fun reking the beginer bots (wich is fun since I'm bronze, kappa). It did not say anything about Junglecamps, Bossmonsters and most importantly summoner 11 SMITEsummoner 11

Skip this if you don't got time (this is not important) This reminded me about when I wanted to try jungleing for the first time. I watched a jungleing guide to season 5's new jungle from Foxdrop. He just couldn't shut up about this thing called "smite". WTF is a "smite"?! He told me how jungle items needed smite and stuff but I couldn't find anywhere what a "smite" was. It took me until one of my friends thought I was an idiot for not taking smite in the jungle about a month later to get that it is a summoner spell like your heal and ghost.

"the important part" I want Riot to make a separet Jungle Tutorial, where new players learn about Smite, Jungle camps, Jungle items, Buffs, Bossmonsters (Baron, Dragon and Rift Herald), ganking, resourse managing, Scuttlercrab, wich champions who works best in the jungle. Heck, even plants!

Other wise it is really missleading about roles and I think new players should be a priority so the community can grow bigger than it already is.

I think that would be really helpful. When I was starting to play the game, I was playing pretty much every role except the jungle.

I just didn't feel really well prepared, you have to make tough decisions like where to gank, when to go for objectives like dragon and all that stuff. Besides that you have to manage your resources. You are fighting alone in the jungle, the creeps attack you and therefore you have to farm correctly to stay healthy for ganks.

It took me a great amount of time til I was brave enough to jungle. Funnily, it is one of the roles I am most comfortable with nowadays. I think the time for me to start trying to jungle would have decreased alot if there would be a really good preparation mode for the jungle role.

The role is really fun and it is sad that so many players shy away from it. At least that's the experience I got and some of my friends, too.
