The MOST important thing when Pantheon gets updated

When League was in it's early days it was okey to do less unique champions that are based after a cool warriors from history. But now champs like Pantheon are not unique (from a Visual perspective), he is "the spartan warrior", same goes for Olaf, he is "the viking". Even Gangplank was "the pirate" befor his VGU when he became a more interesting and unique champion.

So to fix this problem they need shake some things up so he don't look like a typicalgladiator/spartan warrior.

> A cloud passed in front of the sun, allowing the warrior to be seen more clearly. He was bedecked in armor of archaic design, though his arms and legs were bare and tautly muscled. His cloak was deep crimson, though in the twilight it seemed as if stars gleamed in the shimmering fabric. That starlight also glittered in his unrelenting gaze, shadowed within the visor slits of his helm.

This is the description of how Pantheon looks in his short story, "The Spear of Targon", but I feel like they can do more to make him more destinct. What do you think Riot should do to fix Pantheons lacking image? or should they just keep him as he is?

Actually the most important thing is that he keeps his baker quote on at least his baker skin XD.

As for design, we know that the previous Pantheon (the one Aurelion Sol killed) also shared a similar design as described in the current Pantheon's lore, so I think this is the direction Riot wants to go with him.

Then, I see her. This world’s imbued warrior is alone at the peak of one of the smaller summits, brandishing a starstone spear. She watches me through a veil of annexed flesh, a mere spark masquerading as lightning. A thick braid of auburn hair is draped over her shoulder, falling over a golden breastplate that covers pale, freckled skin. Her eyes, the only bit of her face not shielded by a battle-worn helmet, flash a jarring shade of red. She calls herself Pantheon—the warring fury of Targon incarnate. She is not the first of this world to wear the Pantheon mantle. Nor will she be the last. Her glittering cape flaps out behind her as she raises her muscled arm and makes a motion like she’s pulling on a great chain. The tug on my crudely enchanted tether wrenches me off course, toward the mountain upon which she stands. And she’s yelling at me.

It can still be improved on without changing the silhouette however, "bedecked in archaic armor" can mean almost anything in terms of design.

Looking at the region, we know that it snows on Mount Targon and thus you could incorporate certain gear to provide warmth for your warriors, but do Panth, and Leona even feel cold?? Also, in Leona's lore we are told that she got her armor from Targon, and thus wouldn't it have some sort of 'celestial' design (Demacia and Noxus have their own design for the 'shape' of their armor and 'flow' of their architecture, likely Targon would also share this). But currently the armor varies very widely between the aspects, Leona looks like a knight and Pantheon closer to a centurion. As for what the armor is made of, we can assume it would be made of Star gems/ star stone like AurelionSol's coronet or Pantheon's spear respectively.

Also Taric has some strange 'rune??' on his arm, would this also be the case with the other aspects, Leona is known for her shine as though she were a living sun, could this actually be a 'full body rune' and where would Pantheon's rune reside maybe on his shoulder as to dodge similarity with Taric but still hint at that fact that his power is in his martial prowess, obviously Diana would have her's on her forehead. once again beyond this, we don't even know the significance of this 'rune??' whether it is a manifestation of their power or a brand of some kind (to show "hey look at this I'm an Aspect").

A very important thing is that his new ult is: This is sparta or this is Targon :D

Fuck no. Spartan all the way. I want him to look exactly like a Spartan.

The thing is, there are people, such as me, who like him specifically because he the way he does. Changing champions into something completely different is the most annoying thing about these reworks.

Captain Gangplank is pretty great, and one of the most common gangplank skins I see. Highlander Tryndamere remains the best Tryndamere skin of the lot. And adding the silly goopy sciency crap to Warwick looks plain silly, but at least there's Grey Warwick who still looks cool (the eyes are a bit dumb though).

They should keep him as he is. That's the character people who bought him wanted to buy. If you don't like playing a random Spartan, there are 132 other champions to play.

The most important thing is what Panth should never get a face "reveal". His face is that darkness with 2 glowing eyes under the helmet. Don't, I repeat, do NOT change it.

Absolutely agree. I was thinking he'd be fully armore except for arms. He'd still have his bracers though. But his shoulder would still be bare, and broad. It would put him more in line with the Targon/Diana/Leona look, and still have this warrior feel that his character is suppose to carry
