Just wondering about Karma?

I read somewhere quite recently that Karma still has problems that still arent addressed since her rework but my question is.. whats her problem? Every now and then i play her quite religoously then stop for a while and everytime i play her i find her to be good? i dont get what her problems are? Is she justoutclassed by other champs? in terms of shielding poking etc? is there aproblem with her role both mid and support? Only thing i can think of is that her W doesnt really feel supporty for her team and just helps landing mantra Qs who winning trades through the mnatra W which is mainly for mid

I think her problem is that she lost a lot of her identity to many Karma players from the past. She basically now has to choose between being a long range poker, or being a tank. She can't be both because her kit simply doesn't lend to both functionalities at the same time. If you go AP, the result is you hit hard, but your survivability is moot. If you go tank, you can clear waves, but you really can't kill anyone unless they let you. And neither build is all that reliable at producing the win.

What produces the win is group fights with Mantra > E and possibly item 3504 < I think this is generally the complaint. Karma players want the ability to set up power plays and carries, which her Q and possibly W alone won't do.

When I play Karma, I usually rely on my q and e Using the q to poke and to slow and e to chase or escape. I rarely use my w due how close you have to get in order to land it and I use ult whenever I feel I need it. Never played her mid but doesn't sound that viable

Her lost of solo lane pressure. RW is fairly useless despite what you may think. It lost damage in trades, her RE doesn't effect enemy champions either and her W only gives you two ticks of her passive (not to mention she doesn't have a passive). Back in 5.10 she was promised to get solo buffs to make up for these lost but like 95% of them have been nerfed or reverted. The only thing that hasn't been changed is her Q or RQ nuke which really needs some change because it's way too easily countered by just minions.

She also has no true identity. But that's an entirely different thread.
