Teemo advice?

I'm thinking of joining the dark side and maining teemo. Any advice on how to get better with him. Neat tricks? Build or masterie suggestions?

Your Q and R are actually amazeing abilities for team fighting.

Complaining about your adc dieing? Well just throw a Q at whoever is doing the most auto dps toward your adc, boom they can no longer hut your adc for they are blinded which causes all autos to miss.

Big team fight going on? Throw down a teamo shroom and do a massive aoe poison bomb that will slow multiple members.

Also if you plan on team fighting this build is amazing

Rush item 3151 Then item 3115 Then item 3085 Then item 3135 Boots item 3020 Final item item 3089

You, now shred everyone, poison everyone, you are a team fight poison monster

This is super niche, but if you're playing jungle Teemo (there's a dude in master who's a one trick Teemo Jungle player), his Q blind actually mitigates a ton of damage during his clear if you use it correctly (you kite backwards between cooldowns, and blind the big monster and let them try to hit you so they don't reset aggro. Rinse and repeat).

Otherwise Teemo is pretty much guerilla warfare; he plays pretty differently than most champions

There is the pink troll, if your shrooms do enough dmg put a pink ward just outside the bush closest to your turret. Stick some shrooms around it. Don't try this 2 times on the same person.

it sound weird, but play like the biggest %%%% you can, thats where teemo shines, yes you have the champions mechanics but as teemo you play with the enemies head, shroom random ass places like in front of jungler camps, late game just hide like a %%%% near your team and when someone get out to farm a camp fuck his day, things like that, always think about what could you do right now to be a %%%%, and do it, then people get mad, they start flaming and you win the mental war

Alright. So, I'm no Teemo main, but I know a teemo main, and I have done a lot of consulting in the past. (So I could kill Teemos.) I have played Teemo in case you're wondering. The motto's "know thine enemy."

Quick Tips: Bait, hide, poke, run, repeat. That's the formula for success. Until you're fed enough to practice the "Hello, you're dead." method. A lot of Teemos rely on being completely annoying to offset the enemy and make them do stupid things. A good opponent will purchase wards, and avoid mysterious shrubbery. A good Teemo's job is to kill all the idiots who face-check bushes. (But not from level 1.) The most common starting item I've seen is an amplifying tome. Starting with the new Flask can work as well.

generally, one of two abilities are maxed first, and each has a different playstyle. 1) Max E for poison, poke the enemy down and bait them into hard positions. 2) Max Q first for raw damage and blind, poke a little, go for the kill later down the road. The player I learned from always maxes E.

As far as masteries go, I believe Thunderlord's is still the best keystone, attack speed or spell damage are good, and movespeed helps him a lot. (After that, get the health back per minion kill, damage to slowed enemies is strong but you can take the other one as well. You don't need too much mana, take the extra gold.) -- Sorry if that's confusing, but that's how I think of masteries. I don't know all their names.

Crucial Items: item 3115 item 3285 item 3151 item 3135 item 3085 Note: you shouldn't necessarily take all of these items in one game. Nashor's is almost always first item, and is next to necessary. Luden's Echo is great for damage and movespeed, Liandry's Torment is good for the survivability and damage on the shrooms and magic pen, Void Staff should be used only if they stack MR, and Runaan's Hurricane helps murder multiple people at once. It should never be the first item.

Items for survival: item 3285 item 3100 item 3146 item 3001 item 3022 item 3116 item 3046 Note: Phantom Dancer is not an item I've seen, but it should work excellently for the same reason Luden's works: movespeed. And Phantom Dancer has damage reduction, but it shouldn't be a go-to item. Lich Bane is more offensive, but the movespeed helps. Teemo does a lot of running. Gunblade is surprisingly good, and Rylai's synergizes very well with Liandry's. Abyssal Sceptre only if they have a lot of magic damage. Zhonya's can work on teemo, but I've only seen it when the Teemo is fed enough to Zhonya's and let his poison kill the enemy.

Items for raw Damage: item 3089 item 3285 item 3116 In all honesty, Teemo doesn't usually need raw damage. Rabadon's is not a necessary item.

Items for utility damage: item 3135 item 3151 item 3091 item 3153 Yes, BoRK can work. Especially against health heavy teams.

Items to make the enemy cry, because you can: item 3022 item 3116 item 3025 I have no idea how easy it is to make a strange build like this work, but I have seen it. A lot. And it can work.

Oh, in case it wasn't clear from my previous post: raw damage teemo is a good build, and it's very annoying, it's just not necessary. Teemo is very strong with attack-speed.

I really appreciate the time you've all taken.
