The new Season 5 jungle items have fucked around with the META a lot and have caused tons of problems whether it's Cinderhulk, Ruineglaive, or Sated Devourer...

Instead of shaping the META and balances around these items.. why not make the smites an enchantment that you can attach to another item. It can be cheap, give stats specifically for jungling, and only accessible with smite.

This would stop non-junglers from running smite and abusing the meta because it only gives stats that benefit you if you jungle. On top of that, this will allow junglers to build better paths (instead of being forced to run Ruineglaive while playing ).

Why not make it so each team can only have 1 jungle item? that way the jungler is the only one who can get it because if someone else goes smite+jungle item, they would screw over the team, because the jungler wont have their jungle item

I almost never build a jungle item on Rengar. You hit your power spikes faster and can build more useful stuff faster ( item 3142 item 3074 ). So that system could still be abused by some team comps anyways. The only way to deal with it would realistically be to attack summoner 11 but then champ select would be trollville.
