If I don't like your attitude, I'm not going to surrender. If you're acting like how you are now, than I'm most certainly not going to surrender.

Edit 2: I mean like really, are people really defending this type of behavior? Calling other players "Fucking idiots" because they want to play the game? The dude's selfish, he doesn't care about how others feel about the game, he only cares about how he is enjoying the game. Like Anagram said, one person can't stop a surrender vote. Obviously people feel the game is worth playing.
I can't blame them honestly, we're coming from a season or past seasons where a single team fight can mean a complete pushback taking a handfull of towers and an objective. However with the new season and the ability to snowball extremely quickly and potently the come backs are few and far between. So honestly don't blame them, blame riot for the paradigm shift they've implemented.

Funny.. because I hate getting teamed up with players like you. I can't count how many times I've had one person that whines constantly since champ select and spams the surrender button just because their lane lost, only for us to come back because we aren't playing against pros and people throw. Don't Q up for ranked if you don't enjoy the spirit of competition, that includes playing it out at your best even when the odds are stacked against you, because those are the most satisfying wins.
People don't realize the "let's just surrender" mindset is a self-fulfilling prophecy. You will lose winnable games because of that poor attitude

I win matches from inhibitors all the time.
I try my very best to duo with players with a better attitude than the one you've got.
Sorry, but I win half of those games where inhibs are open and no enemy lanes are taken. Late game, all it takes is 1 ace to run down the middle and take 3+ turrets in a row and get into their base.
You'd be amazed at how many strong teams suck at final pushing a base, especially if the defending team has % damage to kill siege minions. (Like Liandra's on mages).

People in the post have poor listening skills. They are talking about coming back from 1 lane losing or someone trying to surrender at 9 minutes. When the op said all the inhibs are open and your team hasn’t taken one tower. There is a big difference and a lot of you are disagreeing just for the sake of disagreeing.
I love how people like you complain about being held hostage, but in the meantime you're the one that fed hard af and lost the game for you team and want to get away with it. hahah fuck no I'd hold you hostage too.
well atleast they have team spirit unlike the most of the players who just gave up when there lossing
I think it's fine if people don't want to surrender because they feel like they can still carry. My biggest issue however is that it's never the people doing well. I'll go like 5/3 or something with 2 others ending up with a decent score too or even getting slightly fed. but our fucking premade bot or premade top/jgl who went 0/800 won't surrender cuz they still got this game.
I'll keep playing as well as i can until the game ends but it's so fucking frustrating.
