Edit: Bring on the downvotes! My message is that since this new keystone is so damn good, other Resolve options be put on par. Bond of Stone anybody? That 4% damage reduction, and 6% damage transfer, oh my! Instead of receiving 100 damage, you'll receive 96. Oooowee! There's literally a T1 ferocity mastery which gives 2% more damage on abilities.

Resolve tree is shit? Not with this keystone! Unless you are one of those tanks with no hard CC, then you're screwed.

I'm not even using it on tanks. That is how strong it is.

Try it on Ryze. Do it. Go into a ranked game, and pick this keystone. You are guaranteed to win any trade. Do it, don't just read this post and forget about it. Trust me. No joke. I think it's may be nerfed (or changed) once they realize how powerful it is. Do it. It's freelo.

... yeah it makes anyone with CC stupid strong and screw over anyone without it.. um riot.. do u remember the "opressor" mastery..

Champions either have crowd control abilities or they don’t, making Oppressor a pretty ‘yes or no’ mastery. How you play your champion makes little difference when the only question is whether you can do something or not, so we’re removing Oppressor in favor of something more flexible.

Well to be fair, oppressor encouraged damage creep. This mastery does the opposite.

Exactly! It's a bit situational though, since some champs don't have hard CC in their kits.

Wouldn't Ryze lose some damage if he went resolve?

I know the mastery is really strong (and will probably get nerfed. Hopefully go benefit more from bonus health) but having a damage champion pick it does cut their damage a bit.

Your point is valid, his damage is slightly put down. But your survivability is massively increased, because of how easy it is to proc this keystone with Rune Prison. The shield is massive.

Plus, Ryze is generally tanky (usually RoA and Rylai's).

Honestly I fear the biggest abuser of this mastery is Volibear. Tanks with it are just harder to kill, but that allows them to do their job better as an engager or peeler. With Volibear, it makes dueling him even more scary because he's a damage threat that got even more unkillable.
