I am not winning many rank games but I just bought rammus. I posted this in player behaviour by accident. Anyway i will practise rammus in the jngle in normals but 9once I get the hang of him I will play him in rank. Is he good for climbing? When should I gank? I am currently in s4 but want to move up and rammus might be an option
Dynikus2 votesYou can climb with literally any champion. Player skill matters significantly more than champion strength, especially in low elo.
Crystalysk1 votesIf this is your first time approaching jungle role, then you should start by learning it... Just watch some streaming or guides... Don't focus only on your champion... Rammus is not bad right now but still a very niche pick imho. I would never first pick Rammus when there are better and more versatile champions.
macspam1 votesYes Rammus is a very good jungler however he is MUCH stronger against full or almost-full AD teams. If you are playing him against a mixed AD/AP team you should be focusing on killing the AD champs. This is because Rammus deals more damage the more armor he gets and also reflects auto attack damage back at the attacker. It's super fun assassinating their ADC even though you're building straight tank.
If you like Rammus you may also like Juggernauts like Skarner or Volibear, they are somewhat similar but not so pidgeonholed into building armor.
