Get rid of keystones.?

I feel like the game would feel better and more balanced if keystones just disappear.

lol you state a perfectly reasonable idea and you get downvoted with no counter argument

He is getting downvoted because he provides no arguement at all besides "I feel like", not the idea itself.

but no one is arguing the counter point either and every one cries over damage creep ... well that got started in season 6 with the mastery reworks... which introduced keystones...

how bout we remove runes and masteries and balanced the champs and items around that... and the only way to alter stats of your champ is by items in game

keystone and rune give champion wht he lack most of the time or adjust his or her power spike . In other case ppl would only play champion who has free stat and % damage would become broken and outdamage anyone who doesnt benefit of free stat .

the way they are right now yes but if you balance the champs and game around no runes or masteries then not really

how bout we remove runes and masteries and balanced the champs and items around that... and the only way to alter stats of your champ is by items in game The idea is that you can customize your champion some to make the champions more interesting or versatile. I don't think they've hit that mark, but the idea in theory is good.

Say you're Veigar. Into a mostly immobile team you can go TLD for burst or DFT for lane poke. Into a more mobile team with threats to you, maybe Veigar opts for Stormraider's instead.

I don't think that is entirely unreasonable way to alter champions, and gives players freedom to have different styles.

im not saying they are bad... but viegars weakness is suppose to be super inmoble and squishy but he gets to nuke everything in sight

it should be a price you pay for play said champ to have to deal with their weaknesses

GankedByWindows1 votes

The price he pays for that is losing the damage he could've had that his enemy almost definitely has, plus he still has to fufill the condition to get the mobility. He still doesn't have mobility on demand

you can tell that keystones is what kinda breakin this game. Abscaum

do you realize that some adc only has 46 basic attack damage ?

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

keystones dont give AD sooo

GankedByWindows2 votes

Fervor does now

"You gain 2 stacks of Fervor for 8 seconds with each basic attacks on-hit against an enemy champion, stacking up to 8 stacks. Ranged role Ranged champions only gain one stack per basic attack.

Each stack of Fervor adds 1 - 8 (based on level) AD for a maximum of 8 - 64 (based on level) AD."

that is conditional if you are attacking an enemy its not raw base ad

but then riot has to balance every champ that was reliant on keystones to function and then they have to balance what those balanes change blah blah blah they are fixing masteries/runes during mid season
