Dear Diary,

If you are toxic, I will not be willing to carry you. If you are rude, I will not support you. If you think you can lecture me to play better when you're advice is garbage, I will not listen to any of it. Dear Diary, when I was asked why I built Titanic I asked my team why they didn't clear minion waves off towers. Ninja Tabi were questioned against a near full ad offense team. I didn't buy a sightstone because we never made it out of our gate. I bought one pink ward because when it died we were doomed. Dear Diary, I need your help. Why is Bronze so toxic?

Enjoy the read. And remember, being toxic makes most of us WANT YOU TO LOSE. Not win. So you being toxic doesn't make us play worse by accident, it makes us play worse on intent because we are no longer invested in you winning. And that is why I am in Bronze- by choice and design. I don't get invested to carry people and win matches where they start whining and refusing to let me proc my relic shield. I think I got 6 procs total in the laning phase, maybe 7. Oh and I got "report Blitz for killing minions" when Ezreal was at base and they were under tower. Oh and "report Blitz, still hitting minions" for trying to save towers. Anywho, inb4 my hate cult burns me down. I seem to have one.

That's fair. I'm guessing I should just not support bronze >.< I like top and support, supports just more relaxing. But no adc I've met yet knows anything about engages. Its really sad- not a single bronze player knows when they have enough damage to go in. If I hooked a level 4 Varus as a level 4 Blitz with a level 4 Ezreal behind me (all of us 0/0/0) and there was just a melee wave of minions, would you go in? Because he didn't even try to help until I was near the tower with Varus.

Uhm. I'm sorry, but they're right. You should always build sightstone, and if you want an offensive item for Blitzcrank, you should pick one that synergizes with his kit and doesn't need 4 other items to be worth the slot, like item 3025 item 3050 or maybe even item 3078 if you have a lot of gold (NEVER from behind, it's way too expensive).

And it's not that ninja tabis are bad, it's just that the other boots are cheaper, and on limited gold that's important.

If you don't want to win, you really should play normals instead. You queued up with 4 other people that expect you to care a little bit.

Chat- I set Nami, he sets Ezreal. I get whined at "we have no cc, support get some". I suck at blitz, but I bite the bullet. Mild arguing between Ezreal and Kayle already.

4:00- total silence. 6:00/8:15- Blitz you're bad. You aren't doing anything says Ezreal.

Ok so I asked "do you poke or all in?" he says "little of both". I hook Leona near turret, she combos Ezreal who does not blink her under tower. I scare Leo off. I then zone Leo. I then hook Varus. He doesn't do a single thing, barely a melee wave away. Varus walks with light tickling. Leo kills Kayle for first blood (Yi picks it up, Leona worked it).

12:00- I try to help top, we get Poppy's flash. Meanwhile Leo killed for Yi and flashed ekko who flashed back. Garen gets 3 manned and takes akali with.

Some time later, more raging. Kayle is pissed I'm not hooking (I have no teammates nearby, bot and top are pushing in and we won't win teamfights...I'm clearing minions, you guys lost a 3v4). I then join the next 5v5, zone Akali and Varus trading 1 (me) for 3 (everyone but A/V). No one cares, I'm still useless. I don't care, I haven't. I just gave it a shot. They had 30 seconds to take inhib and inhib turret, they do not. They bm at the tower instead.

Shall I go on? This is around 23-26 minutes. I'm busy clearing minions because nobody else will. I bought titanic because mid was never mid, top was always jungle, jungle was jungle, ezreal was raging, and I thought I might as well tank a bit and test the waters. Titanic paid off, I cleared around 5 waves post purchase. RS paid off, I saved Kayle and ekko (kayle raging despite surviving...whaddya do). Garen and I man up, kill Akali. Yi then 1v3's and wins (my bad, can't land a hook on mr save your blink for my cc) then pentas. Ezreal says we all suck, report blitz for trolling (lack of spirit, not trolling) report Kayle for trolling, report ekko for feeding, and report garen because he sucks. Kayle rages that Garen and I are making picks. I mean I can go on for days mate. I get that I wasn't right, but I know they weren't any closer than I was.

Ah. Big mistake was in the first sentence. Especially in low elo, you should play what you like and what you're familiar with. My other bit of advice is to use the mute feature liberally. Trust me, they're Bronze, they aren't going to communicate anything useful. It's on you to perform well and lead by example. And most of the time, it should work.

Yep. The only time you should switch up your pick is if the other choice is down thing oh are equally comfortable with.

Gotcha. Welp, I guess I have a quick question for my bronzie life. I like action based gameplay (of course) but how do I pick a support for poke/farm ADCs? All I can think of that will work would be another poke support (possibly Twitch as an insurance policy since he has strong level 1/2 bully) or heal supports. I can't think of any ADC that I've seen in Bronze I'd pick Leona for or Braum even. All I get is Kog'maw, Ezreal, and on rare occasions Ashe/Caitlyn. Thanks by the way.

You have to think of using ward information as having a skill cap to it. Bronze doesn't achieve it.

And they don't and so they declare the support to be their ward slave... so yeah.

At a certain point in elo, warding does indeed start to have a legitimate effect.

If someone on my team does something I don't like I either call him something nasty, steal his farm, or leave him to die. But I always end up carrying him anyways so it doesn't matter if he wants to lose.

I'd already given my ADC too much farm and I was two levels down from trying to zone the Yi off bot lane and scare Varus off farm, neither of which worked because Ezreal would just push and ignore actually getting CS. :C Feelsbadman.
