My question is fairly simple. How does normals affect ranked MMR, if at all? Let's pretend, that i'm gona diehard learn a whole new role, and champ. And to do that i go normal since i don't wana ruin my rank, but bots are not good enough either.

So i lose a LOT at first. It's a sort of price of learning since i'm not a pro with everything player. And like 99,9% of the playerbase aren't either. Question is: Will this affect my MMR, and ruin my LP gaining on ranked later? Are the two in the same system, or they are separated somehow?

Normal games, Solo/duo queue and Flex queue are separated and have individual ratings. So playing normal games won't affect your LP gain on ranked and in a way it is good to learn the champions in Normals first.

You have a separate MMR in each queue, so you can climb in one queue without it affecting others.

There is no overlap at all between any queue's MMR.
