And that he has received no buffs whatsoever. The least they could do is lower his energy cost (he can't even do full combo) and give him MR per level. A V.U would be nice too.

However, I'd still like to see you write up an argument, rather than just state your opinion with no facts behind it. Things like: Which items do you consider core on him?

This. Is always key to creating a good thread. No one can discuss the topic or have an opinion on the thread if you don't explain what you're talking about.

For Example: When you say all of Shen's items, I just look at his core items on the website. Not being a Shen player, a post with no description to it makes it impossible for me to take part in the discussion.

What are you talking about? Lich Bane only got a small nerf, and Deathcap is fine...

I play shen pretty regularly on my smurf and he seems like he is still fine, hes one of the few tanks that takes less damage from autos so he actually functions late game. His lane phase can be pretty strong too once you get a giants belt.

I basically just rush sunfire then get randuins or thornmail and just become a super beefy front line for the team while split pushing slowly if the opportunity arises. If you spend enough time in the teamfight to kill me well I've done my job but the odds of me dying are fairly low because shen has such good base stats and his shield can be used so many times late game if they arent focusing you.
