No one say Annie or Kayle either. Can't stand either one.

Swain. Swain

Why swain? He has a strong early dmg output is easy to play since just 1 skill needs to be aimed for (w) and he can stay on lane extremly long because of his passive + doran.

Swain is not in the meta and often when i pick swain i see people do terrible mistakes vs me. They are not used on his cooldowns or damage over time.

After the snare nerf you'd have to be the most faithful of faithful dedicated mains to pull him off tbh.

CooL Ice Tea1 votes

what means to pull him off in this szenario? It's not my native language, sorry ;/

EcchiOtakuTM1 votes

To do good with him.

CooL Ice Tea2 votes

Ah! Thank you for the explanation. If you see my match history on 5/3/2016 then u can see its not that bad of a pick - i picked him for top but it shouldnt be that different for mid

You haven't given any real indication of what kind of champions you're looking for, or what type of playstyle you like, so I can only give very general suggestions.

Lux Ahri

Lux and Ahri are two generally good, flexible mages that work with most team compositions. Both are quite popular and currently considered strong.

Does it matter what I am looking for? I am looking to win, that's all that matters.

Xerath is what I'd recommend. A nice mix of burst, range, and waveclear. After level 11 it becomes really easy to help in a team fight, even if you're not there yet.

I can't stand him, I purchased him and we don't mix at all.

Diana , counters a lot of the popular champions while being counters by the champions no one almost ever sees. Good Assassin.

Astôlfo1 votes

Play Zed. :^) After all, according to the boards and all the QQ posts everywhere, he's a god-tier champion who will never ever die and farm only at max range while getting every CS and be automatically best-tier. And if you try anything, he'll instantly 100-0 you. Obviously. [slayer-jinx-wink]

Anivia is really good, at level 2 you can Q->E for huge damage, even more with Thunderlords. Mid/lane game she still deals massive damage, as long as you can land your Q or get them into your R you can 2 hit squishies easily. And her wave clear is some of the best in the game!

I don't like that slow bird, utterly useless.

Ryze

  • Safe to farm with ranged AAs & Q.
  • Has easy pokes with his E + Thunderlords.
  • Can be destructive with his passive & his WQEQW combo on a single target (or w/e combo that works as long as it can reach all 5 casts)
  • Good counters to mobile assassins like LeBlanc.

Morgana

  • Has strong lane sustain due to her passive's Spell Vamp.
  • Can either improve her jungler's ganking potential with her Q, or avoid most CC-heavy ganks with her E.
  • Excellent clear speed with her W, assuming you placed a few points & built some AP.
  • Strong presence in teamfights with her ult+Zhonyas, or W+Rylais (I sometimes build it on her).

Vladimir

  • Similar to Morg, also has a strong lane sustain with his Q.
  • Easy to avoid ganks with his W(assuming you didn't pushed lane too much without vision).
  • Has strong pokes with a maxed Q plus some AP.
  • Can be quite destructive in teamfights with his Rylais+R+E, and can easily avoid damages with Zhonyas whilst waiting for ult damage to proc.

Don't ask me about Assassin champs. I suck on that.

EDIT: Did Riot deleted your "u a liar" comments? And tq for proving that you did not have a single proof at all for not responding to my screenshot question.

the rest of these I will consider.

My main mid champ whenever I do play the role is Orianna. She has great damage, with all being aoe. She's easy to farm with because of her passive. She has arguably the best team fight out of any mid laner. Very safe pick, and only struggles against Zed imo, which can be changed by your jungler pressuring your lane. The only problem with her is that she has mana problems if you don't know how to manage your spamming. Oh yea, and she has better waveclear than Viktor now because of his nerf.

well, I have tired her and I consider her very boring and confusing to use. Still, thanks for your opinion.

Malzahar

Simple and strong especially against bronze / silver.

item 3027 item 3151 item 3020item 3116 core item 3135 item 3001 pick one (Void against teams stack mr, Abyssal against teams not stacking mr / with heavy ap damage) item 3089 last item (Unless you need Zhonya's then this won't be built and you will build the mpen item last)

item 3157 item 3165 Situational (Zhonya's where it is necessary / useful, Generally I replace roa with morello if it's necessary (Good item against sustain heavy teams (Mundo, Soraka, Vlad, Etc)) can be positioned with the same rules as zhonya's)

Vladimir

High sustain and another easy to pickup champ. Just play it safe and farm / use your ult on priority targets.

item 3152 item 3157 item 3158 item 3116 core item 3135 item 3001 same idea here as mal item 3089 possible finisher, though building the mpen item you didn't build earlier is another option. Generally only end with this when you don't need extra pen / tankiness.

item 3065 item 3151 item 3165 item 3143 item 3075item 3190 Situational ( Spirit visage when you need more tankiness vs ap, Liandrys when against a lot of tanky health stacking targets, Morellos same as mal, last 2 when you need extra tankiness vs ad with randuin's for the ms slow / as speed slow and thornmail for sustained damage intake, Solari can help out a bit in teamfights and offers some extra tankiness vs ap)

Do not play Zed Yasuo Ahri Leblanc Syndra Lulu Riven They'll just make you gain bad habits and more than likely make the climb you're already struggling with harder at this level. You want simple easy to pickup champions that let you focus on map awareness / macro gameplay rather than complex champions that force intense micro management.

Your Cho'gath is still a perfectly fine choice to spam and climb with. Just keep focusing on recognizing and fixing any mistakes you make during the game and you'll probably be able to hit 60% + win rate with him.

Oh and don't disregard things like Annie just because they're not fun to play. Sometimes you gotta grit your teeth and deal with a boring to play champion to climb or get better.

Whatever you choose don't forget to spam it for 10 - 30 normal games before you take it into ranked. This will let you get a feel for the champion and give some more experience in matchups with it. Normal games are good for experimenting and focusing on learning. You can get away with focusing on different areas (Map awareness, Warding, Cs, Trading, etc) and not have to worry about losing lp for it. Custom games are also good for working on certain things (Cs, getting comfortable with the champion's kit, wave control (Locking / Pushing)).
