Require $20 RP to ranked / Start all in B5

The trash has gotten pretty bad, stopping playing on weekends when the kids are not busy with school.

Just throwing the idea out again, Riot should be able to stop a lot of the trolls/smurfing by requiring people have purchased $20 worth of RP before ranked unlocks.

Also just start everyone in B5 and let it sort out over time. It's a bit much to have people who never played ranked to be placed in silver.

Another idea, if players haven't been ranked yet don't place them in anything other than b5 matches.

Queue stream of people who troll/smurf who would cry bloody murder.

its free to play game you cant require people to pay to play ranked because then it will be 20$ game and League is so popular not only because its a fun game but also its because its free -.-

As a fucking poor player. Please don't. 20 bucks makes a pretty hefty impact in my income and is usually the difference between eating meat in the week or not.

Also, if I was a troll I'd be much happier to ruin something people PAID to use than to ruin something which is free

If $20 is hard for you to come up with you need to focus on making better life decisions rather than playing a damned video game anyways. Go accomplish something ffs.

Not a good idea at all lol. I spend RP on skins. What the hell does that have to do with my skill in playing? Lol. I have spent more than that and it did not increase my skill. Playing did.

I do think people should be required to have a certain amount of playtime before Ranked though. I know I went in too fast.

The $20 rp part might slightly reduce smurfing but resetting everyone to B5 is the dumbest cry baby cop out for not being at a higher rank than I've heard in a while.

I have smurfing and climbing the lower tiers takes no real skill. Resetting everyone to be just creates match making problems like we seeing the beginning of a new season. Everyone started around mid silver and over time have settled in their accurate ranks. Resetting email etyone to b5 just sounds like something someone would say be abuse they are salty that they can't climb and font understand why.

I dont get how this makes trolling/smurfing harder when the main point is to make it unattractive for for people to play ranked matches, but then you go on to quote someone basically saying $20 is insignificant. This may seem a bit roundabout... but if $20 is insignificant... who is it stopping at that point?
