Edit: i'm talking about dueling(guinsoos rageblade ect) not about critical Yi which is all that works for him currently. Hes better with critical now. Onhit is not feeling too strong for him. His onhit effects need more consistency.

Garen E will apply on hit effects 8 times at lvl 1 in 3 seconds at 50% of their damage. That is the same as 4 on hit effects in 3 seconds. But Yi the all time "duelist" gets only a few and guinsoos has been bugged since the 9.10 change to apply them after 4 AA which is rediculous.

You basically justify anything if the champ has "no mobility". But then again, you never asked yourselves if Yi has an escape(he does not). So unlike jax who has a great defensive ability for fighting and q to escape. Yi has none of that so its why all the other skirmishers or slayers are better than him at dueling. They don't lack defence or burst but yi also isn't much stronger sacrificing those 2 things for dueling which sucks! It is annoying that a high risk glass cannon and no cc slayer(Yi) got nerfed quite a bit in his dueling when you have broken damage juggernauts that can 1v5 but the justification is "they have low mobility" Really??!

He was already struggling against these champions before you nerfed him. You claimed he was broken in low elo but i assure you anyone from this list could've stopped him brainlessly. Now thats a long list and I assure you that theres probably more people that can trash a dueling build Yi but I just didn't bring it up. Basically evelyn/ahri are a funny case they make yi run into them fast and they one shot him. WOW so broken sarcasticly speaking. and rammus taunts yi and makes him kill himself. annie walks up to him and when he Q's her she ults him one shot. WOW YI MUST BE SO BROKEN.

Enough said riot. Yi needs some love <3 If you do such a buff for someone as annoying as Garen then I guess you can address Master Yi's problems!

Yi is not even broken with dueling in low elo he was just good against an adc+supp with 0 peel or cc as a 1v2 pub stomper that doesn't mean hes broken at all because if they bring more then hes toast. From my experience it seems that adc's were better off with crit and attack speed. So why do they need guinsoos? Needs to be melee only like it was intended to be. It is with the sated devourer effect and that was for junglers who farmed for 20 minutes or more for stacks. Its annoying that any ranged character can pick one up and one shot people.

I'm pretty sure that second list is just "They killed me once so they must be a better duelist than Yi"

Come on. Jinx, Malz, Fiddle, Morg, Galio, and almost half that list 1v1ing Yi with equal items? Highly unlikely.

From my experience it seems that adc's were better off with crit and attack speed. So why do they need guinsoos? Needs to be melee only like it was intended to be. It is with the sated devourer effect and that was for junglers who farmed for 20 minutes or more for stacks. Its annoying that any ranged character can pick one up and one shot people.

Every single one of those "Broken 1v5 champs" yi destroys in a 1v1 past like 15 minutes into the game. He also beats the majority of the duelists you listed past 15-20 minutes. The only ones who could probably beat Yi in your duelist list past 20 minutes into the game assuming the yi and the other champ have roughly equal gold and the yi uses his moves well are Jax, Vayne, possibly rammus, maybe zed, and Eve if she lands a charm. Most of the rest certainly have a chance if they're fed or the yi is very underfed, but most of those champs don't out duel Yi if both players have roughly the same skill level.
