For those who whine about Mordekaiser's W being unusable on solo lane

Should Soraka also be able to use her W on herself so its not useless on solo lane?

Soraka is a support. she's expected to play on a duo lane and Riot doesn't like her going solo.

Mordekaiser WAS a solo laner, now they want him duo

She already can, it's just conditional on her landing her q to proc the passive heal on it. Morde however, gets nothing.

I agree, Mordekaiser needs some extra incentive to be played as a support, not a carry. Which is why his W should not be able to self-cast. Incentives!

Soraka's W CAN be used in a solo lane, you dolt, to heal minions and thus push the wave; PLUS she benefits from it by healing herself every time she lands a Q.

You picked a horrible example.

Mordekaiser on the other hand can't use W in any way, shape, or form without an ALLIED CHAMPION.

Soraka has always been a support. Morde has, up until now, always been a solo laner. You are comparing apples and oranges.

Yes?

It wouldn't be useful early game since the cost would overshadow the heal, but later in the game she could top herself off.

I think Soraka should be able to heal herself but the cost should be significant like.

20% of her maximum mana or something to cast it on herself. Would be interesting for Soraka to gamble either landing her Starcall to potentially do damage and slow the enemy with a small heal on top of it, or to use her mana for a guaranteed heal.

To be honest I just want to be able to play the old Soraka mid again.
