Pure Solo Q ( We need some actions beside posting)

Everyone has it's own arguments why Solo q should come back. It'll be waste of time to list them again and again. I dont think Riot will actually care about these posts unless we take more action I have 2 suggestion

  • Dont buy RP
  • Dont play ranked Until new announcement towards Solo Q.

If there is less solo players in the queue , 4 man premades will have much longer match up time. Solo players shouldnt be the "filler" for the 5th place And of course we should keep posting new posts to be heard..

EDIT: If more and more players stop playing ranked it'll have an impact on queue times considering the fact that Diamond (NA) player count : 24k(15k dia 5) Platinum(NA) player count : 98k(38k plat 5) If the players who stop playing is in higher tiers it'll have way much more effect on matchup times. Please also consider low populated servers..

I totally agree. Vote by not playing LoL and not spending RP.

Eventually, if Riot doesn't listen to the community, I will lose interest and stop caring about dynamic queue and LoL altogether.

You're posting this on the boards. Let's say, 2000 people use the boards consistently. You're also posting on the G5&B board, even better.

You have 16 upvotes, and 6 unique commenters. We'll even assume that the hive mind mentality of this board gets this post up to 100-200 upvotes, and 100+ unique commenters. We'll even assume that the people who upvote this actually participate, and don't ranked / buy RP. That is nothing. I would say that is a fraction of a percentage, but that's incredibly generous to the amount of the player base that this post will reach. The amount of "profits" league is losing as a result of this post is a drop of water from a rainstorm.

But, good luck with your "boycott" of DynamicQ.

Please do this, most people who complain about solo queue are unwilling to play support so this would dramatically reduce queue times and make playing dynamic queue much better!

I have seen this a few times and I am gonna stop you at "longer queue times."

One of the MAIN REASONS Riot is holding off on SoloQ is because they do not yet have a way to implement it without making long queue times on both sides. And they have said this.

Why would solo players stopping and making queue times longer convince them that they need to separate SoloQ and Dynamic Queue, making the queue times longer?

The queue times will be so rediculous with both gamemodes that they can't do it without finding a way to fix this. They could either take off the option to pick roles and have both queues (kind of like it was before) or they can only have one.

As a purely solo player I want soloqueue back too but I don't want to double my already high queue times (currently 11 minutes in this queue).

That could be a good way of pressing Riot, but... well, DQ lovers are right that people visiting Boards is a low percentage of overall players.

BUT

I'm pretty sure that a big number of non-board soloqueuers have noticed and being annoyed by DQ's blatant flaws, so if we were able to spread the word to these guys, maybe we could stand a chance.

So my suggestion to solve this is gather around a well thought and written reference topic, discussing the flaws of DQ and suggesting to stop buying RP and playing ranked. Then, once that post has been written, we would keep on playing ranked and copypasting the link (maybe not only a Boards link but Reddit also?) at champ selection so the few soloers and duo guys that we find, can join (if they agree) the claims.

I don't think I'm suitable to write such a post, but someone might contact one of the authors of the highest rated posts about DQ?

A couple of ideas about the post:

-Opening, brief paragraph stating the target of the post: Bringing back a real solo-Q. It should be brief and strong in order to quickly get people's attention in the 2 or 3 minutes that champion selection lasts.

-Big section (divided in paragraphs, not a wall of text): discussing the problems of DQ that have already been pointed out a million times.

-Join-the-cause paragraph: explaining how to spread the post, giving also the reddit (or Boards) link of the post and giving a date to stop joining ranked games as soloers, since to spread the word we should play enough games and give enough time for the post to be noticed and "go viral" between no-Boards players. It might be worthy reminding the date on the heading of the post too.

I think the day support role dies off will be the day this will die off and they better start prepping a game mode of 4 man, man support mains have been switching or either stopped playing and I think the lack of supports is actually the reason for the queue times aside from other people stop playing

You're putting 4 man premades on a pedestal as if there are millions of 4 man running rampant lol this wont do shit and if you honestly sat back and looked at things, you may be put with a 4 man premade once every 100 games? Why is every crying like they get put with 4 mans every game? Like ranked is code for The Dickhead and the 4 Nut Sacks? Personally I've played 250 games in plat elo and have never been the fifth wheel

Its going to be clearly obvious when at the end of the season, gold and plat shoot up to 55% of the ranked playerbase yet meanwhile 90% of people still go 1-5 in lane and rage quit in a normal. God bless you Riot

The likelihood of any coordinated action gaining enough momentum to have an impact is very small.

The natural result of these changes will be felt over the season, whether or not this hurts Riot's bottom line is a wholly different question
