WARNING: THE FOLLOWING POST CONTAINS EXTREME RANTING OUT OF MOUNTING FRUSTRATION. Am very glad to find a post about this. Need to vent. *exhales slowly. At times, Remake is some unbelievable bull@#$%. Started up comp and queued up. Told team in chat not to remake because it might take up till 3 minutes to get in because of potential bug splat. Surprise, had a bugsplat. Got into the game literally at 3 minutes and pinged "on my way" incessantly to the bot lane for fear of the imminent remake vote. Remake is only supposed to work when a player has been and 'STILL IS' afk. Ironically, I was now in the game but the remake vote came up at 3 minutes like clockwork and I GOT TO VOTE. Obviously, I voted no. Camps dont spawn until 1:40 and I was out of the game for only 1:20 after, which in the span of games that can be expected to take at least 20 minutes, is not very much. Getting back on topic, 3 of us, myself included along with the one teammate in chat who seemed to understand my dilemma and tried to assist, and one other, voted no. Two out of the five members on the team, TWO voted yes and that was all it took for the game to be cancelled and for me to lose lp and most annoyingly be put in ANOTHER lower priority queue. Having to wait 20 minutes extra to queue up for the next five games for being 1:20 seconds late seems TOTALLY LEGIT. Yeah, this is the second time this has happened in almost the exact same way.
With these past few experiences, REMAKE is a bigger source of frustration than the afkers it was meant to punish. "Stop leaving games" some ppl might say. Couldn't even get INTO the game, and when I did, remake wouldnt allow it to be played. Some changes need to be made such as increasing the remake onstart time from 3 minutes to 4 and requiring more than just 2 ppl to say yes. Also making sure a team cant remake after giving up kills.
