Will Crit Chance ever be changed to Amplification?
Why should a game that has the intent of being competitive still require RNG?
It's like playing Chess, but every turn you have a chance of randomly getting another Queen on the board. The RNG overshadows the smart play a lot of the time.
Playing adc is essentially competitive dice rolling. There isn't a downside to turning it into damage amplification, since all it does is turn random spikes of damage into consistent damage.
If anything, this would help balance out adc's quite a lot. At the moment, if you play someone like Graves, if you get a crit early game you essentially get a free kill. However, if it's amplification, you can reduce the chance of cheesily snowballing, and instead give him more power in his abilities to enforce a caster style of play - rather than a 'hit everything, crit once, and pray' sort of playstyle.
tl;dr - If I wanted to play "RNG, the game" I'd just play Hearthstone instead. Please change it over in preseason..
