Why buff Shiv?

Pehaps bronze Yasuo players wasn't doing well with only 3 cs per wave, so now even if you really suck at farming you'll be able to get 6 minions per wave without even try.

You uh, do know more than one champ uses that item, right? It's also heavily outclassed by RFC right now. RFC has more utility for the same energized damage.

So you're saying that AoE item has to deal the same amount of damage as a single target item? Besides, every champion that uses shiv can wave-clear just fine.

My point is the buff wasn't necessary at all.

Yes. Think about it- Let's say you only have one choice- RFC or Shiv. Obviously, if you are ranged you will want RFC for the sweet range boost and energized attack for taking down turrets and sniping enemies. If you are an ADC with really poor waveclear, or someone like GP, Yas, Yi, Trynd, etc., then Statikk may be better for you. Right now they are trying to make Shiv way more interesting than RFC's current state of "Just buy it, it's OP". The buff is necessary for the item to compete. You are acting like it makes Yasuo unbearable. Yasuo is pretty easy to deal with...

Any moment I said anything about Yasuo being unbereable nor that I don't know how to deal with him. I said that they buff an Item without reason and proable was because some bronze yasuo was complaining he couldn't farm..
