Issues with Flex que

Some major issues i have seen in flex que is plats and diamonds playing against silvers and bronze. I just want to know how does that even happen? Also why is that even a thing. Ive lost 3 games, 2 placements and a series, because I ran into Diamonds while a couple silvers were on my team. Which I still dont understand because i am in gold. So is flex really going to be a mix of everything? there are no Rank tiers anymore? Just masters and Challengers are the only 2 ranks I have yet to see.

lol i dont see how riot was able to mess up this bad. its soo annoying to deal with. I mean i dont have a problem playing against diamonds + when i have a gold+ please that atleast know some of the match ups and how to play, because its a great learning experience. the last game i had the enemy team had a D3, 2 plat 3, gold 2 and silver 4 i think. while on my team 1 plat 3, 3 golds and a silver XD how the hell is that game balanced at all

This has been coming for every season due league system. EUNE.op.gg and na.op.gg division average MMRs have become closer and closer together. RIot have admit that is the problem, but their dev doing things has some bloody white list on email preventing most people outside USA communicating with him via email. And he has no way to be contacted via RIot system.

I tried to give a solution: simple: Add 200 to 500 MMR buffer to each divison: Thus your MMR is "base MMR + League modifier". Force MMRs of different league divisions and subdivisions separate. Drop the LP system and base whole division system on MMR and MMR alone as LP is totally useless disguise not taken into account in anything important. Your LP define your position in league but MMR is used for matchmaking. Thus your league position is said to express your skill level, but it is mechanically prevented to do so.

If you'd look at the Gameplay discussions, you'd see everyone talking about this. I don't see the point in making ANOTHER one out of the hundreds that are out right now.

But I'll comment anyways :).

Apparently, MMR is for some reason messed up. A lot. Riot posted something about it a few days ago, though I never read it. All I can say is - enjoy it while it lasts. Or try to. Learn from the higher ranked players. How they play, and how they differ from you. Turn it into a positive experience!

As for the lower tier players, help them out whenever you can. Be polite about it though, as a lot of people take criticism as bm which sometimes is never intended.

Besides, flex q ranks will likely mean nothing once soloq/duo comes out. Since it'll be played more, unless you plan on playing flex q when soloq comes out :o
