are you a support main? or play support alot? and please do not take this the wrong way. recently ive been changing my supports up with tanks and mage supports, raka, nami, karma. then my main supports alistar, braum, thresh. when the first adc update came out, that changed the supports alot, especially on tanks because the adcs were doing alot more damage, you couldnt just go in abuse them and walk out with loosing 5% of your health anymore which was one thing i loved to do so much, when you go in now to abuse them and keep their farm down you loose about 10%-20% of your health (on a full tank page, 30 armor and blue magic resist) but i dealt with that. i played safer made sure my adc had my back when i went in to even out the trade, big change to my play style up i adjusted it. little patchs here and their boosting and nerfing alot of champions, nothing effecting supports to help with the adc boost in damage. then with the mage update that changed so much, locket barley does its job anymore. when you are fighting a enemy mage and they were boosted so much that locket is almost a irrelevant item its kinda annoying even the active part is barley hanging on, which is forcing the healing champions like raka nami sona, and karma whose shield barley helps depending on the mage. veigars update is stupid locket is useless, raka, nami, sona dont stand a chance against the 2 ability combo veigar has if they dont build 100% tank which hurts their healing. zyra ap is also stupid right now, as a support i can deal with it because i play mostly tanks and i dont let her take over the lane, but like i mentioned with the mage, healing supports (squishes) are being forced out since they major nerfed alis heal. and which make it pretty easy for zyra to dominate the lane because if zyra gets her plants spawned before you can step on them you loose alot of health. SO yeah the support items need a update, however the supports them selves could also use a update, supports are nearly one of the 2 most important positions in the game. whats the use of having supports if they are getting left behind in the updates. supports right now are kinda like???? idk who to compare them to because yorik is good just no one plays him, but supports themselves need a class update, top laners got a update, adc got an update, mages, assassins, junglers are a combination of all of those soo supports are the only ones who never got a major update like all the other classes.
