Falling behind as Kha'Zix

So recently i decided to start Jungling as Kha'Zix but i always seem to be behind when laning phase ends. Any advice to help me keep up?

not really, Kha Zix is just a really high skill, low pay off champ atm he's basically a less reliable Rengar, even though hes far more fun I suggest you get armor penetration from item 3147

Personally I wouldn't really consider Kha'Zix high skill, he's fairly simple to get a grasp of you just have to do a lot at once but that's about it. Though I don't know what rank you are or anything so that might have something to do with it, there's definitely easier champions out there.

I mean not high skill, you have to do a lot to get very little kinda, work hard get paid little, even though the work is easy, if you can understand >.<

I think I understand but I disagree with the low reward part, Kha'Zix can carry hard, if your team goes in 4v5 and gets most of them low you can just go in and get a penta fairly easy when you're ahead, the Q damage and E resets are pretty OP if you ask me, not really a fan of his pre 11 though, if that's what you meant then yea I understand.

Anyone who tells you feast or famine, it's not that bad. I have to get some sleep but in the morning look for my post because I main Kha and can give you a whole run down.

To clear up what other people said in this thread:

Kha'Zix is easy for some people and hard for others.

You don't need good ping to play him, you can double jump with well over 100 ms.

Draktharr, in my opinion, is a shit item for a bomb assassin like Kha. If you want A pen go any other Dirk item.

Your job after laning phase is to fight small skirmishes or 1v1s. Set up a lot of deep wards on their side of the map and counter jungle safely, waiting to catch someone out of position.

When it becomes late game, Kha falls of a little bit. Now your job is objective control and outputting damage. Try to all in their backline, immediately ult away, then spam Q's from a safe angle at whoever you can.

to be honest, i find him kind of hard to play when ahead..you don't gain much if you are ahead as kha'zix..if you are behind he still does dmg, you need to catch people in order to deal alot of dmg. regardless if he is ahead or behind his playstle is the same. Unless he is supremely fed, he is the same champ . same shit. I always get ahead with him, and i still need to play extremely carefull . The best way is to go bruiser if you are ahead . If you are behind go tanky first.

PS: he is hard to play properly, you actually need extremely good FPS and good ping in order to make some crazy moves with him. But, Rito servers
