Kayn's passive progression bar is so misleading

The progress meter above the champion's portrait tracks the highest number of orbs collected between Red and Blue, not the total.

If, for example, you have 50 Blue and 70 Red, the progress bar will be half filled (70/140). If you enter combat with a ranged champion and collect 10 more Blue Orbs, the progress bar will not visually change - as 70 Red is still your highest.

The progress bar gives no indication of which transformation is currently leading, which can be difficult to estimate due to the increasing value of orbs over time.

From the Wiki. There is currently no way to indicate wether Kayn or Rhaast is winning, and as the wiki describes ist the current icon is pretty useless. I want to know how far I am from transformation, yes, but couldn't you make the dot in the middle change color based on who I will be able to transform into first?

if your worried about changing into the wrong form, then just time your ganks. the later it is in the game, the more you'll actually obtain from each takedown, so generally you wont have to downright camp a lane to get your desired form
