An idea on how to balance Aphelios.

Stop him from going out to the shop, he has EVERYTHING he needs. Instead of having access to buy items he spends his gold to upgrade his weapons in the base. Make his early game weak instead of allowing him to be oppressive at all stages of the game. When he runs out of ammo, he no longer stores the weapon at the end of the order, he runs OUT of ammo until he returns to base and can no longer use that weapon. give players the choice of changing his off-hand weapon, make his off-hand weapon and how much ammo he has left VISIBLE to the enemy team. And rework his Ult. He can't build things like . He can only buy potions, wards, boots, and ammo packs to use when he's isn't in the base.

This is an interesting idea to balance to consider that every time they then change the gold cost of an AD item or introduce a new busted one he will have to be adjusted manually by the balance team because they lose the damage balancing mechanisms items give a champion.

I really like the idea but it will sadly never fly because it would be a minor balance nightmare (extra work) due to item adjustments and whatnot

That sounds like viktors passive but 5 items instead of one. In theroy it could work but it would just be really annoying

Okay 1: This is, kinda, garbage? Unless he can get access to crit items, then this would gut Aphelios, you gotta understand items are the MOST important part of a champion, without them they can't play the game.

2: The base ammo idea doesn't make sense, it tells you what happens, they're warped back to Alune (by her own power) who is always with Aphelios to be recharged in the moonlight

You gotta realize, his early game IS weak, he is isanely weak to lane bullies like MF, or hard scalers that can outscale him like Twitch, it's not that he's overpowered, it's that no one knows how to beat him, he's insanely weak late game if he has a weak early game*[slayer-jinx-unamused]*
