  • ** Passive: Rewind**

After recasting Time Bomb or Time Warp, that ability can be recast before it's cooldown is up. This has two charges, which build up every 30/20/10 seconds. You cannot recast an ability that was already recast.

Overall his W as a passive

  • W: Distortion (Because it'll need to be explained first)

Zilean marks a location as distorted time. Up to 2/3/4/5(based on character level) charges can be held at a time. Zilean can have up to 10 possible distortions up at a time(meaning his current pool of charges counts to this number, if he recharges before using the 10th oldest one it goes away).

Minions that die on top of these marks will rewind on their death, in which they will revive. These revived units grant 20/40/60/80/100% XP of the base unit and up to 5/10/15/20/25 additional gold. But do note, this can also apply to your own minions.

Marks can be picked up by allies or enemies and are effected by other abilities. If picked up it will expire after 5 seconds if not effected by another ability.

Kind of similar to Zyra's W. A utility spell that effects other abilities. But also like Azir as it's required for other abilities, just not as combat effective. If not enough I've thought about letting his AA's effect targets marked. This also holds a bit of his old passive's XP gain.

  • Q: Time bomb

Zilean alters a time distortion to implode after 2 seconds. If two Time Bombs touch each other, they will both implode.

No stun, it'll make sense on his E

  • E: Time Warp

Zilean alters a time distortion to disrupt the flow of time. Allies will speed up and enemies will slow down within it's range. This effect can stack if within multiple Time Warps. But champions will gain resistance to it as they stay effected by it.

Kind of like Ekko's bubble when he doesn't pop it(slightly smaller). But it also speeds up the team. Biggest thing, and reason his stun is removed, is that this will follow a unit if it's on them. The resistance it to prevent a perma-speed+slow effect. This resistance works vs all Time Warp's up till it fades away. Strong initiation tool, but weakens as a fight continues.

  • R: Chronoshift

Does it's current effect. In addition, a player effected by Chronoshift can click on a friendly non champion unit to trade locations with them. Consuming Chronoshift and becoming untargetable for 0.5 seconds, healing for 20% of it's revive total.

*Kind of like Ekko's ult in an odd way. Perhaps I'm referencing Ekko too much? Not really meaning too but I'm noticing it after I type it. When I think Chronoshift I think Command and Conquer, so teleporting make sense to me. *

  • W becomes a lot more important to manage. Enemy counterplay is to pick it up and move away. It does not give vision, but Zilean can see the mark move.
  • Q would probably need more. Most of it's balance will be based on ranges.
  • E may be a bit OP. It hurts immobile champions more than mobile ones. May need a max range away from Zilean to prevent someone like Vi diving the back with it on. Similar to why you cannot carry Orianna's ball half way across the map for her ult.
  • Sorry if Ekko feels like an influence on this kit. Not really intending it.
  • Ranges and such are left out, use your own imagination of what would be "balanced". This is just a base kit change because he's in such an odd spot.
