I was just thinking that maybe some item or spell to cancel the enemies teleport would fix some of the problems with teleport and help people not feel so helpless against TP. Your support could take it to protect yourself from being teleported onto. A toplane bully could take it to pressure the turret and force that other laner to TP somewhere away from turret or fear having the TP cancelled. It just seems like it would open up a lot of counter play so people don't feel so helpless staring at a TP coming in and just waiting to be fucked over.

? The effect still goes through.... The toplaner still comes back to lane to protect turret with 5 pots. Or the toplaner TP goes off soon enough to flash then cc whoever or cast a spell for the kill, or even use their ult since top hits 6 first. I'm not sure why you would scoff at my statement.

Because it is extremely silly that you think there is no counterplay to an ability that has a 4 second channel time.

I fail to see how 4 second channel makes TPing back to toplane from base any less effective. How do you counterplay someone losing lane then TPing back with 5 pots? Do you kill the turret as a level 3 champ with no items before they can base and TP back?

No, the whole point of them using teleport is to stay equal in farm and gold. If you got a kill on them and they tp back it is your fault you didn't back at the correct time because you are fully aware of their teleport.

I get why they use it...it's in the game right now. My whole post is WHETHER OR NOT there should be a way to stop it. HOly shit dude. Are you dense? You could just say "hm, I disagree, I think it's a good thing that people can get back to lane without any way to stop that from happening." It's not hard to be polite, but idiots on these forums cant fucking do it. Im out. Cya.

If you can't target the champion casting the spell, why should you be able to interrupt them?

I'm not talking about just randomly cancelling every TP on the map. I'm talking about possibly some ability to stop a TP by clicking the thing being TP'd to, perhaps even with it's own channel time of a second or so, so it could be countered too. You can currently stop a TP by killing a tower that they are TPing onto, but Im simply throwing out the idea that perhaps we should expand that to some item or spell to accomplish the same on any TP. It doesn't seem so extraordinary to me. I think it should be at least be explored as an idea.
