You know it's true.. she's so lackluster as a champ now and just falls off late game. Higher AP ratios please if shes "supposed" to be an AP champ. Her attack animation could also be a little more responsive (viktor is a good example).

There's a good reason to why she was gutted.
That reason is that she is extremely unfun to play against no matter if she goes AD or AP.
I would actually gut her to the point where she becomes as useful as pipecleaner.
I hope they will leave nidalee gutted for a long ass time... she deserves it. For three years i watched nidalee hit half hp's with one q... THREE DAMN YEARS.

I only think her Q needs to use less Mana, maybe 10 or so. It's her main source of damage because her basics are so weak, and her Cat form makes her Very vulnerable in teamfights.
To those who say she's op... Learn to dodge spears or you deserve it. And for this post I'm on a 9 game winning streak as Nidalee lane.
They REALLY messed up Nidalee with this rework. Not saying her previous self was better, but I honestly don't understand what they were thinking with her here.
They gave her an AP scaling long ranged poke tool, made it incredibly difficult to land while simultaneously easy to dodge due to slow movespeed, and they gave her a followup tool that isn't even good enough to gapclose on someone at max range.
They gutted her AD and pushed her AP, but she has an attack speed steroid on her E which is completely useless if you build AP. Her heal also scales with ap, hilariously enough.
She can be built as an assassin, but they recently gutted her escape because she was too strong in lane.
I just don't know what to say anymore. I used to like this champion, then they reworked her and I liked her as AD, and then they gutted her AD and now she just seems like a clunky version of her old self. She's no fun to play anymore.
Nothing of value was lost
She doesn't need outright buffs. She needs further work in the line of a minor rework. That last nerf was too heavy handed on AD Nidalee and hurt AP Nidalee just as much.
Most of the people in here give no good reason for the nerfs other than anti fun(which in most cases is just simply being an annoying nuisance). I find Gnar and teemo exceedingly more irritating than Nidalee but it doesn't mean I want them gutted.
Right now her kit is to focused on Takedown which was her only big damage skill as AD Nidalee. Takedown should remain a big damage skill but I think her damage should be spread out to other parts of her kit more instead of being centralized on her Q. She should still do a ton of damage though because that's is all she has to offer a team is damage and currently she is lacking in that department in a meaningful way.
If your champion pick is played correctly and is picked in the correct situation you will never fall off.
