Tentative way to encourage supporting

So, I was thinking about one of the problems that are still here after a long time. Supporting. This is a well known problem, so I won't be explaining it here again. Why does it happen? Well, beside the obvious reason of people not liking to be the assist, the helper, the second one, there is also another way to look at it. Supporting lacks reward, being it simply the lack of gold and exp. But I have the suspect that there's also a more psychological aspect: the KDA. People simply don't lika a x/y/z score where x<y<z, even when things go well. So I was thinking about this. How about KDA becomes KD? How about Assist mechanic gets removed altogether, and everyone who participates gets kill? Or maybe just call it Takedown, so it's less ambjguous. This would mean no ks calls anymore, since as a support you can actively focus on actually killing. No more escapes because I wanted to give the kill the carry. There's the gold implication, of course. Well, just split equally among the participants. Carries would still have more gold due to CS, and it would actually be even more important. And, more importantly, I could now end a game 25/2 as a Janna and think: wow I'm strong, even if I actually killed no one. Not only a psychological solution, but also the addition of a variance in supporting, giving a little help to the damage oriented ones who fell down a bit since the Censer era.
