Quick Cast + Range Indicators not working

I remember there was a change that happened a couple months ago with range indicators but I dont know what exactly it was.

But recently mine just arent working 3/4 of the time.

Just played a bot game as Karthus for the hell of it, and I couldnt get the range indicator for my Q to work at all, but it worked fine for my W.
