How to stop the board rants about ADC being Toxic to the game

I don't hate ADC's or anything, but I do feel as though they've been a bit stronger than usual as of late. I believe the actual problem to lie within crit. Now before you go, "But blah blah blah blah blah!!! DOWN VOTE THIS POST TO TEEMO'S HOME!!!," hear me out.

The problem is base crit dmg. In League that value is 200%. Of the many other games that I've played crit dmg generally starts at 125%. This is the main issue for League's crit chance as of right now because you can have 250% crit dmg and 100% crit chance along side 2.5 AS. Even if you make it harder to stack crit chance or attack speed you'll never truly solve the issue of crit chance unless you cap everyone's AS at .5 AS and you cap crit chance at 1%.

The easiest solution to all of this would just be to remove IE's 50% crit dmg and put base crit dmg to 150% and you'd literally still solve everything that's wrong with crit chance in League. Still you can't do that because the little ADC baby mains would cry, so you have to make a fix for the lost crit dmg.

Reducing base crit dmg from 200% to 125% will allow crit to be balanced far, far easier in the future. This will also open the door back up to crit dmg builds. Previously we had crit dmg runes, but they were removed because they had no place in the game. A change like so will create 2 crit play styles. You will either have lots of crit dmg with no AS or very little crit dmg with lots of AS. You can also have a build in the middle where you have a fair amount of both. Still either way neither build will be dominant over the other because each one has a clear draw back to it. Each one will also share the same draw back of having 0 defensive options if you choose to take on a full crit build.

This will hold true unless some stupid person decides, "We need an item that gives crit dmg, crit chance, AD, AS, life steal, GA, Zhonya's, and is a QSS all in one." Of course crit dmg should never be paired with AS because in doing so you create an impossible to balance item. Crit dmg should should always be paired only with low amounts of AD or a fair amount of crit chance. Of course it can also be a stand alone stat on an item.

I didn't bother to make more examples of crit dmg items because I'm lazy and my 2 brain cells can only function for so long.

Infinity Edge should be split so that it's not as strong. The AD should be lowered because bonus crit dmg is basically extra AD granted you have to crit. Even with 1% crit pro players have shown us time and time again that 1% is enough to make a difference. Chances are if you build an IE you're going crit so it's only logical. Lowered the cost to balance the lower ad and no crit. Still costs alot because crit dmg scales into the late game when you get more AD.

item 3031 Cost 3400 > 3000~3200 (doesn't really matter as long as it's over 3000) AD 70 > 40 Bonus Crit DMG 50% > 25% Remove Crit Chance 20%

The next two I didn't want to bother to think up of names for. Essentially it's like another Shiv item. Instead of the extra damage being magic damage it's a direct damage increase and isn't mixed so it's not impossible to deal with.

New Item Meat Beater 9000 Deluxe Unique +25% Bonus Crit DMG Cost 1200 item 1051 + item 1051 + 400G

New Item Bum Rusher 2000 v1.0.1 +20% Crit Chance Unique +25% Bonus Crit DMG Cost 2800 item 1018 + Meat Beater 9000 Deluxe + 800G

These two also need to be more expensive and deal slightly less damage. With crit damage and the bonus magic dmg it's too good for its price. Making it slightly harder to buy along with lower damage will curve the ADC power spike.

item 3094 Cost 2600 > 2800 Remove Energize on Structures 50-120 DMG > 30 -100 DMG

item 3087 Cost 2600 > 2800 60-160 DMG > 40-140 DMG

Of course there should also be more items that reduce crit dmg, but who cares Rito doesn't care enough to even bother to make more than one so why would they now of all times.

I mean I get it but ADCs are supposed to be glass cannons. If they build crit, you build armor, if you build armor, they build penetration. It's about item countering as well as champ countering. You can't just walk into a game as Lucian with full atk speed and crit and go against a fully armored tahm kentch, he'd destroy you (and he has done this to me in games). It's just that when an ADC who relies on ATK SPD get's that infinity edge they have JUMPED in damage and you need to compensate for it.

I think Building a community consensus may work to reduce the amount of rants and Tilted conversations. So I'm giving it a shot. Posting here to encourage your participation.

So you made IE into an item that is like 30% gold efficient and probably won't even be with 100% crit?
