The state of the game just shows that ADC Players are the worst people to ask to balance the game...

They Mfking trying to tell you that ADC is currently balanced?

Mid lane players never said that Ryze and Leblanc was balanced?

Jungle players never said that rengar was balanced?

Top lane players never said that tank Ekko was balanced?

But Mfking ADCs trying to tell you that twitch and kog are currently balanced like wtf bruh u drunk?

They litterally just want brain dead freelo shit thats all.

If you dont fix this shit Riot give me my Ryze and Leblanc back so i can have a brain dead freelo shit in the mid lane too..

No you're wrong mid lane players tried to say that Ahri was balanced for months and 1 love tap caused her playrate to drop by half overnight.

To be fair Ahri is nothing to what old dfg ahri was. Remmember when Ahri was a hard counterpick to twisted fate? And nowadays its pretty much a free lane for tf.

they where saying she was balanced because they wasa lot stronger shit in the mid lane back then then they got nerfed so she became stronger indirectly.

Meanwhile Anivia sits at 53% global winrate for plat + players and somehow thats fine.

PhaseDives1 votes

Anivia is at that win rate because her base dmg is overtuned and only mains play her meanwhile everybody plays stuff like twitch

Shes like a mini version of old ryze

Winrates don't mean everything

Aurelion Sol has had the top 3 highest winrates forever but it takes a lot of games played to get him to that level, and that is the biggest difference. A big reason why Anivia wins a lot is because Asol is so unpopular.

So having 53% winrate is ok if you've had to put in a ton of practice? So like ahri, who's been around forever and people have like... put in a ton of practice on... should(n't) have a 53% winrate? I am confused.

Why is it fine if anivia or aurelion sol have high winrate, but not for ahri? People have put in way more hours on ahri than on aurelion... hmmm

The point is that champ tends to have inflated win rate if their dedicated player base is low. Because they are more likely to be mostly veterans on the champs.

That and, champs who are unpopular may be legit having balance issues but no one would notice due to the low amount of players who play or see them being played.

That's just supporting my point about ahri. Most people playing her are veterans - so they should do better than the average mid. Also, who are you more likely to gank for? An ahri, or an anivia or orianna mid? Probably the ahri in laning phase because you have the best kill potential with her. Thus also, champs like her or syndra will likely get more help, snowball more games early, and therefore have better chance to carry and win.

Except Ahri has above average with I think 10%+ pick rate so is not situation where her players are all veterans, and Ahri is not that weak nor vulnerable early (out of the 3, the one with the worst early game is Ori).

The "the are likely to get more help" is mostly baseless, at least do not agree with anecdotal examples and common sense since there has not been a mid lane meta, and neither can it really be proved or disproved.

But really, Ahri is really not in this absurdly terrible-but-not-really situation that you're saying.

Two problems with your argument - ahri has been out since forever. So even non-ahri mains will more than likely have countless games on her from over the seasons - thus they are veterans even if they are not ahri mains. The same cannot be said for aurelion sol due to his recent entrance to league.

Secondly, the "more likely to get help" is entirely logical. Junglers gank lanes with kill threat. You don't gank for a feeding 0/5/0 lane unless you are low elo and not thinking. You gank where you will get fed, your laner(s) will get fed, and where even if the enemy jungler counter-ganks you will win the 2v2 or 3v3. This is what all good high elo players and pro's do. Secondarily, you gank to shut down "ticking time bomb" enemies - like cho and nasus. But first and foremost, it's about where you can actually most reliably get kills.

No one goes... I think I'll gank for my aurelion sol who's just sitting mid and has no reliable hard cc before level 6. Anivia (vs immobile mage), ahri, syndra, etc. offer this hard cc even before lvl 6 and have more reliable burst than aurelion does that early in the game. Thus, the jungler would see more kill potential in their lanes than in aurelion sol's lane. He might counter-gank if the enemy wants to camp mid and snowball against aurelion sol, but he wouldn't gank because "there's high kill potential".

Conveniently forgot supports. Thresh Janna Lulu .

PhaseDives1 votes

Thresh is actually shit tho and stuff like janna lulu become weaker when we dont have a overtuned like hell adc class

xToxicOsirisx1 votes

Thresh has boasted at least a 20% play rate since he was released. I don't think i've ever seen his play rate go below that. He may not be defining the meta, but he's always been there. Always.

And is it not possible that adcs are strong because janna/lulu/shields are strong? Riot seems to think so by nerfing ardent censer.

ModWulf Helhammer1 votes

I don't know anyone who's really trying to defend Kog or Twitch as perfectly fine right now

woodvsmurph1 votes

Actually, adc's will tell you over half the adc's need a buff - so they can keep up with the op ones.

Also, since people complain that heal/shield supports are too strong... better buff tank supports and their items that benefit adc's.

This would be a more accurate assessment of the "intelligence" of adc's philosophy of "balancing" the game.

Oh, and make tanks so they can 4-shot; cuz if it were 3-shot like they want, people would complain that's too op; so 4 hits is a good compromise.
