How do you deal with troll supports as adc?

EDIT: I don't mean to blame the darius supp for my bad performance. Basing on what and how that darius was wrinting in the lobby I recognized a potential troll who maybe would steal farm, kills and leaving me vulnerable to enemies. I had several games with a support like that, so I was just thinking ahead. Due to my wrong judgement I had a bad match. Is my fault, I know it and I am not looking for being pet or being blamed. That match just made me learn how biases based on bad games could effect negatively further games. I just would like to know what do you do when, as adc, you have a support that makes you wasting almost an hour of your time, nothing more.

Little story time

Some days ago I wanted to play mf adc after weeks of support playing.

In the lobby pre-match the one that should suppose to be my support starts to be exuberant and a little aggressive. He was chatting with another team mate, so I supposed that when this guy took Darius he would swap with the other one and gg, but he didn't: his premade took yi jng, so I had Darius supp.

That wouldn't be a problem if he didn't wrote 'at least I would feed as Darius' and generally being aggressive (but not toxic) about his opinions in the lobby.

Ofc, I had a lot of supports playing a non support champions (like a Shaco) but not very often they were toxic on purpose tu make me tilt but from this Darius I didn't really what to expect.

Would he last-hit all my cs? Would he let me die and take kills? Would he flame me for no reason? Maybe, or maybe not.

So, to be provident, I took item 3308 as first item, in order to get some gold if that Darius wouldn't make me farm. Turns out that he wasn't trolling, but' just' very salty.

I was farming very bad because of the fear I had everytime he went close to the cs I was aa, so at 5 min I had about 16cs while my opponent had 40. Hell.

Then Darius asked me why did I take item 3308, but on my answear he just said 'oh, poor kid'.

Having 26 yo I felt very stupid. My 'mistake' was to not to trust my team mate remembering similar past experiences.

Selling item 3308ofc didn't make me take over the match and be more useful, so I had one of my worst matches with mf since I got her the 7 mastery, but I can't blame me completely.

Or should I?

And you how did you manage a troll support as adc?

As a midlaner when the support "troll picks" I usually switch to support gameplay. I still farm my lane but after the first mana item and boots I buy support items, and I tell the ADC. Even like 2 days ago I had a wukong support so I went Morgana mid and told my cait to hold on, after glp (which I bought cause it's the cheapest) and mercury boots I got a locket, shurelya and other support things and started peeling shit for Cait. Right when she was starting to tilt for lack of peeling I came online with this things plus a coin to give her Cs in mid (wukong was taking her farm). Eventually wukong got enough stolen gold to start hurting and I was like a really fed support since I spent first minutes as a solo laner and cait with 1 lane and half of income became able to carry. If your support doesn't want to help you maybe someone else on the team will :)

Sorry but the correct answer as well the best thing to do for yourself is that you should. You should blame yourself because that is what you have control over and according to you, you made yourself miss cs because you worked yourself up over a guy venting in chat and tilted yourself instead focusing up on it to get the cs.

As for how to deal with a "troll support", just play as the situation presents itself. If they are actually trolling, just accept the reality of the situation of that game and move on.

Just continue to play the way you would normally. If they are salty or toxic just mute. If they start messing up the lane (either intentionally or not), just stay safe and try to get as much farm as you can. It's frustrating, but you need to stay calm or else you will come off as the troll.

Play as safe as possible. And hope the jng will gank ever once in a while. Dont fear them. I also run relic as a adc and it works for me. But just the first relic i dont build it furtur. And then you have to be positive as your skill as an adc. Last hit minions with Mf q and if you aim right bam enemy adc / support just got badly poked. Gl

How... does the presence of that make your CS that bad?

I'd rather have support Darius than support Blitzcrank.

I was farming very bad because of the fear I had everytime he went close to the cs I was aa, so at 5 min I had about 16cs while my opponent had 40. Hell.

So you re self-destructing and call other troll for that ?

As long he has supp item, you can expect he is not trolling.

I could tell you about these adc that didn't like my pick and played badly because of that, ending blaming me for it.

Friendly Ram3/30/2018, 12:31:13 PM1 votes

Same way i manage a troll/toxic adc as support. Ask for the enemy champ to rotate to a new lane with you.

Venompaw3/30/2018, 1:13:25 PM1 votes

So what if Darius takes cs? Just because they queued for support, the champion's kit doesn't change.

HelpOrIFeed3/30/2018, 8:39:55 AM1 votes

There is no way to deal with troll supports. You are basically fucked.

Done253/30/2018, 2:51:54 PM1 votes

Don't blame yourself. That was 100% the Darius's fault.

DrTeath3/30/2018, 8:50:41 AM1 votes

Hmmm. I play Darius sup, but never for a rando, so it wasnt me . Got him to mastery 6 like that .
But yeah, I would assume he was a jerk if he started of being salty too.

Because I like to use off meta sups, i generally give people the benefit of the doubt . I let them prove themselves to me one way or the other , and block accordingly.

on a side note, youd be surprised what a support Jax or Heimer can do for an adc.
