How to fix the problem that position ranking intended to fix... out of role turds

Very simple... leaverbuster sucks. Everyone has had to dodge a game before and the inevitable 20+ min queue time sucks... especially when you want to play and have a limited window to play. Makes you think twice about it in the future.

So why don't we punish players with this instead of "splash LP ranking."

Someone tilts because they got AF as support? They don't behave and feed all game? They troll the whole game? Easy fix... next time they queue make them queue for their MAIN role for a long time. EZ PZ... stop tilting and inting because you're off role. Because if you don't... when you want to play your main role you will have to wait even longer.

Conversely... players who play off role and do well... they should move up in queuing for their main role. Same concept if you get AF, you get protected from AF for a while. Players who play off role and do well should get higher prio in their main role matchmaking.

Generally, the nasty players are usually too tilted to want to stick around and wait 20-30 min for a game so they'll probably just quit and cool off.

I agree, they are turds. Just easier to fix it the way Riot did then make people actually expand their knowledge of the game in other roles. People are lazy in general.

As long as you are guaranteeing them their role, even if it makes their queue times longer, they may see it as a reward. And the method by which you guarantee them their role probably would punish everyone else in the system by lengthening their queue times as well, effectively rewarding the toxic player and punishing the non-toxic community.

Unless you just mean autofill protection applying to all players that fill but... the game already has that. Maybe you mean timeouts and temp bans for reports of toxic behavior but... we already have that, too.
