And mind you this is when I'm sitting at Gold III for a Rank, I just won another promo and jumped up to Gold 1 but still though it doesn't feel right having to try so hard to get where I clearly belong in terms of Rank.

if you are good, they should let you climb, if you are bad, they shouldnt stop you from falling.
gold 3 win game = you will play with plat until you lose. gold 3 lose game = you will play with silver until you win.
that's not how rank and climbing should work!

Yes but it spikes way too much, if you loose 2 games in a row u getting matched with two tiers lower players it's not how it must work.

I’d rather earn 18 than play 2 tiers above me to earn 6 extra...

I don't get why Riot insists on matching plats with golds, golds with silvers, etc. It's a terrible way to reward someone's win streak. If they're winning, let them keep winning, not intentionally sabotage them by putting them against higher skilled opponents. They'll meet those higher skilled opponents when they get to that tier.

the bonus LP gain would be reasonable if you played vs a gold 1 when you are gold 3. its supposed to be a gain you get, not because you are at impossible odds, but because RIOT CANT MAKE TEAMS PERFECTLY EQUAL.
ok, would need more miliions player for riot to be able to always give us perfectly matched team, fair enaugh i dont mind.
but that's not what happen right now, they intentionally go out of their way to stop you from changing elo, which make it way harder unless you are a high plat at least playing on a gold account that would play with plats.
there is no reason to make changing elo that hard since other game dont and its going way better like that.

BiochemicalZombi1 votesNot trying to bring you down. You might just have slightly higher than average mmr and your playing against 47-50% plat5/4 rank spammers with hundreds of games. They might as well be gold 1. But the 50~ wr keeps them at like gold mmr
