So Ornn's Passive is actually gonna be busted

Solari Fortune··2 votes·1,206 views

He basically will never need to back and the moment he has gold for an item he can just walk to his tower, buy it, and then come right back. Meanwhile his enemy has to back fully, then walk/tp back to lane.

Plus, Warmogs on him is gonna be nuts

Guys, just let it hit the servers before complaining about it being OP or not.

Nah... to me it just sounds like a mobile equivalent to Dota 2's special shop. In Dota 2, there are two shops. The fountain shop where you buy basic items. And then the secret shop where you do your upgrades and stuff. The problem was the hidden shop is hidden inside the jungle, and the spawn location is random. And it's near always near the the center of the map. And its location can favor one of the teams.

If he can keep his health and mana up, yes. It'll also depend on the cooldown on the passive.

I wonder how a champion with infinite access to control wards will fair in bot lane. He probably needs to be in fountain for a recharge of sightstone, but for only 75 gold he can have a control ward at any point.

He's designed for top, but I view outsubstaining your enemy bot with biscuits and having wards all the time.

Think about ARAM and his passive.

I imagine he'll have a cast time on actually making the item (Be funny if it took longer for how expensive the item was) plus a cooldown on how often he can do it to balance it out.

Plus, like it was said, he'll need to keep his Health/Mana up in order to really abuse this. So I would guess someone with good poke or a strong engage would make it hard for him?

He will probably have mana problems so he has to back sooner or later. You don't back JUST for items.

Bully him out of lane, you shouldnt back anyway if you're pushed in with full health anyway, you back when you have low health, or you pushed all the way and have time to back to lane with items. it's gonna be a nice passive, but not busted, just annoying in lane phase

Why will Warmog's be nuts on Ornn in particular?

Warlord Rhinark1 votes

You will never have to go back to the base ever again. You literally have the whole fountain and the shop keeper with you wherever you tread.

You won't have mana regen.

Warlord Rhinark1 votes

Eh. If you can manage your mana, THEN you won't have to go back. Managing your health is another thing, because the enemy can take away your health but they can't take away your mana.

Variks the Loyal1 votes

Well, they can take away your mana by playing aggressively and forcing you to use abilities to trade or escape.

I'm not saying it can't be played around, and I do think Ornn will be able to sustain in lane longer than most champions, but I don't think it'll make him never leave his lane.

It could lead to interesting things like giving him the blue buff or prioritizing giving him Honeyfruits to keep his mana up.

I mean, he needs to back to heal as well.

Warmog's on him will be interesting, but I don't think it'll be nuts since it will be a hit to his total survivability.

He'll be able to stay out in the rift longer, but he won't be as durable until he gets actual resistances and it still won't give him Mana regen.
