So it's the new season on Wednesday right? That means we will have to do our 10 pre ranking game to get ranked again? And then ranked games will continue or stop for a while?

No, it's preseason. January is when the new season starts I believe.

You can. Your reward status for season 7 is determined by the 8th. After that you can continue to progress in ranked and it will help determine where you will place next season. You can not receive any extra rewards, such as Victorious Graves after season ends but in preseason.

You can do ranked in preseason (you'll keep your current rank), but it won't result in any ranked rewards, and has less impact on your ranked mmr than regular season games.

Yes, every season you need to do your 10 placement matches before you get your initial rank (which can be anywhere from bronze 5 to plat 1).

It's important to note that it's only what your mmr is at the end of them that matters, not necessarily your win/loss ratio during placements, so dragging your mmr up during preseason can make the difference in where you place.
