What are your thoughts on Camille as of right now in Top lane and in Jungle?

Camille feels like a strong champ in my hands, but I want to know what you guys think.

She should not be able to focus her E instead of her Q. She's not designed to have its cooldown lowered so much so early on in the game. But there's not much of a way around that.

Any champion that builds Tri-Force into full tank is fundamentally unhealthy to play against, and Camille is a champion literally designed around the spellblade passive

I play her infrequently, so I can't say I've played her while ahead, nor have I firmly grasp her playstyle. But boy, she is as hard to play from behind as they say. Even if she builds (mostly) full tank, she is not that tanky except for 1v1s. But if I'm against her, as long as I'm on equal footing with her, she really isn't all that bad to fight against.

Naturally though, I may flame our jungler if she gets that sheen before she gets ganked once.

As a Camille main, I preffer to olay her on Top lane, as to where most non-Camille main players preffer her jungle.

She is good on both and for those who think she has easy match ups early game, it's not true, the need of buying item 1412 makes her scale off late game u like other hyoerscaling junglers due to sinergizing better with a ningle item(like MasterYi with item 1419). On Top lane she can invest that one item slot into a better late game 6th item.

I do find 3things that SHOULD be adressed on Camille however, one for each of his BASIC abilities:

  1. Q - Bladesurge: Press The Attack's 12% exposed bonus damage does not amplify the True damage her Q2 deals, however her Q2 increased damage by 100% but converts 92% of it into True damage. This means the remaining 8% deals ohysical damage, if not even additional matic damage from R - The Hextech Ultimatum. Press The Attack is meant and should affect 8% non-True damage without affecting 100% damage increase on 92% True damage.
  2. W - Tactical Sweep: I'll be straight with this one. This tool is a good sustain tool in lane, but in the jungle it's just a delayed AoE damage. Her W should heal off of Epic Monsters too, not just enemy Champions. Also includes Drake, Herald and Baron Camps. She struggles with camps early on as she has no sustain or waveclear, which makes her skip wolves, raptors and krugs until she rushes item 3077. It's time to make her jungle clear normally again. If healing vs. Epic Monsters were to become too strong, then cap healing vs. Epic Monsters then.
  3. E - Hookshot: Out of all the diving tooks, Hookshot feels the most unique and nost thrilling to use. The way it was designed really brings Anime feel in it, but gameplay wise it requires a damage and mana adjustments. Hookshot costs 70 mana at ALL ranks, which means it be comes more efficient wise because you'll deal a lot more damage with it when maxed out rather then when it's at rank 1. Not only that, but 70 mana cost is absurdly high for early game, where Camille is level 3 -6 without item 3057. This makes her struggle with trading during the laning phase while being too exlensive of a spell to jungle clear with, especially without Blue biff early on. The stun on this spell is good, but tends to last short sometimes, especially when the enemy team has max tenacity, which is a fair. What I would want to do is LOWER the mana cost at rank 1 and make it scale as you rank it up, lower early damage so it can have a higher damage at rank 4 and 5 while being optimal at rank 3. This would be both an early game buff and nerf while affecting her late game damage while mana costs would end up improving. This should promote Camille players in buying traditional dorans items item 1055 and item 1054 on top lane(not jist typical item 2033) while making her jungle clear less mana drainingly exhausting. There, this is how I view Camille in her current state, she is good but deserves to her problems fixed like all champions do. TL DR:
  4. PTA's 12% bonus damage should affect Q2's 8% non-True damage by counting the damage incresement from 100% to 112% for the 8% of non true damage while not affecting 100% increasement on 92% true damage.
  5. Her W should heal off of Epic Monsters, Drake, Herald and Baron camps. If it were to become too strong, then cap the healing vs. them then.
  6. Her E needs to cost less mana and deal less damage while having old 70 mana cost at rank 5 and have better damage. Make it so mana cost increases as you rank it up.

Absolute game design sin Her ability to fly across a full screen length with E and then trap you with her 0 counterplay ult should not be allowed on a jungler

This isnt even accounting for the fact she can flash to extend her E (which has a ridiculous hitbox)
