Gnar syndrome

so it seems that Azir is suffering from what i am going to call Gnar syndrome (very underpowered out the gate)

Azir can do a hefty amount of damage we know this but it really isn't enough for the usual amount of attack speed you can get from the 1 AP attack speed item to make his soldiers do enough damage before the enemy just walks by them and melts your squishy little shit.

his Q is all around ok but seeing how maxing your W is the way to go its shit early on in the game.

his E literally just feels buggy as shit. there will be times i press the key and he doesn't move but the move says it went through. there also the fact it is pretty bad to pinpoint in a team fight with 4 sand soldiers at one time.

his ult is ok nothing really bad about it.

his passive is his biggest problem that seems like his most staple thing yet. it dies what feels like 10x faster than normal turrets seeing they slowly kill themselves already. and late game become the most pointless shit when the enemy team can just melt it before it even shoots shit. its damage isn't really all too great either so it gives no real incentive to use it seeing how it doesn't block inhibitors from taking damage so people in all my matches have just ignored it or have someone tank it to get the inhib.

TL;DR - the passive turret just feels really pointless when they die so fast and do little damage

i feel he is gonna get a buff just like Gnar did after release

I prefer to call it Yasuo syndrome, personally. People are very bad at playing him out of the gate, but give it a month, and we'll have soloq highlights of Faker pentakilling people with him and endless complaints about how OP he is.

No Gnar syndrome is more accurate, because Gnar is a very combo skill based champion, yasuo is just a very powerful low CD champion. Anyone can play yasuo. No seriously I had a glitch which, due to the resource bar animations, my frame rate would go down to to 5fps and constantly drop frames until i tabbed out of the game, then once his passive charged up again it would mess up again, despite that i still played him a few games, and went double my kills to deaths (granted i've fixed the issues now, i don't play yasuo because of how insanely strong he is and how unsatisfying it is to play him).

Gnar on the other hand, even before you are "great" on him you can be bad at him. A "great" gnar is able to uses Q/E combos in mini to clear minions waves, or initiate before turning mega to instantly retrieve his boomerang, exc, exc.

Gnar is very timing based while yasuo is item 3087 item 3031 based. As in those two items alone are enough damage to kill 80% of the champions in the game in less than 3 seconds until 45 minutes into the game.

Nothing wrong with being undertuned it's not very likely something will be released in a balanced state. Anyways I agree that his passive seems underwhelming and I find it weird that his soldiers can't apply on-hit... sure that might make him really strong with certain items but currently his item choices feel limited in an awkward way. However I don't know since he's new so I'm just going to wait and see.

this syndrome you talk about is simply an adjusting period everyone experiences while playing new champions, the difference is that since Azir is a completely new addition to league no one can play him correctly yet.

I have been having problems with the E also... sometimes it works.. sometimes it doesn't.. and others it works in delay

I disagree. I've already played good Azirs. They absolutely dominate teamfights. It's ridiculous how much presence he has. He fires soldiers over walls, I saw one with 3 up at once. The damage they do is significant -especially to carries like Fortune or Riven, and his soldiers have crazy long range and they can't be targeted. If you dash in to burst him, "Oh, no, ULT -DENIED! Clean up team." The rest of the team comes in and smacks you down. Azir is not in need of a buff by any stretch of the imagination. I would say he's balanced for the most part assuming you know how to take him down. Assassins are Azir-bane, otherwise, Azir handles himself quite nicely -annoyingly so imo.

Everyone's getting used to him. Azir discussion will settle soon.

I honestly feel like his ult is the buggy one. I've seen just about every dash go through it as it is deployed and half of them when it's already been up for a second or two. I don't know if he will get a buff, but I'd hope not. He isn't weak, he is just not easy to play at first, if you only played him 3 times then give up because he isn't carrying the team, or you failed to actaully look at where you were messing up and what to improve on.

His extra attack range is hard to get use to and attack moving on him feels completely random, but once you get a handle on it he is by no means weak.
